Alfred Hitchcock (13 August 1899 – 29 April 1980) became a Member of the United States in 1956 and retained British citizenship. Film directors, screenwriters, producers, especially good at shooting thriller suspense films, film suspense masters.
In 1925, he directed his first film " Garden of Joy " . In 1926, he directed the film The Lodger, which he considered his first film. In 1933, he directed the film Waltz in Vienna. Worked with Michael Balcón again and was employed by Gaumont Pictures in the UK. In 1935, he directed the films Thirty-Nine Steps and The End of the Spy. In 1939, he directed the film "Butterfly Dream", which was his first film after going to the United States, and it was also Hitchcock's famous masterpiece. In 1948, Hitchcock's own independently produced the form film Rope, which was also his first color film. In 1954, he was nominated for the 27th Best Screenwriter and Best Director for the film "Rear Window". In 1955, he directed the film Too Many People Who Knew, the only hitchcock remake. In 1959, he directed the film North by Northwest. In 1960, he directed the film "Horror", which was nominated for the Best Director Award at the 33rd Academy Awards. In April 1968, Hitchcock received the Owen Salberg Memorial Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. In 1971, Hitchcock was awarded the Order of merit of the French Legion of Honor. In March 1979, Hitchcock was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts. On 1 January 1980, Queen Elizabeth II granted Sir Hitchcock the title.
