Fred Premier League 100 Interviews: Hope to win the championship in the future, the team's best choice of the season De Gea

Live Bar April 17 News In the manchester United match against Leicester City, Manchester United midfielder Fred ushered in the milestone of 100 Premier League games, manchester United official website recently released his personal interview, he talked about his performance this season, the national team call-up and the selection of the best player of the season in the team, the following is the interview content.

The last home draw with Leicester City was frustrating, but you must be happy to score in your 100th Premier League game

First, it is indeed a frustrating result. We wanted to win but it backfired. But I'm happy to score in my 100th Premier League game. This is a very important milestone for me. I want to continue to help the team by scoring goals. I want the team to stay happy, keep winning and achieve our goals.

Talk about the goal that hit the top corner

My pass to Bruno was supposed to be an assist. But I saw Schmeichel Jr. save the shot and save the ball to the side, and I instinctively shot the ball upwards because I saw him get up quickly. Then I scored, it was an important goal of my career. It was an equaliser and it was important for the team, even though we wanted to score more. As I said, this is an important milestone for me. I hope to continue to help the team with goals.

Pick a few great games from 100 Premier League games

It's a bit harder because it's really hard to pick exactly one out of a hundred. I think this season's game against Crystal Palace was a special one, and we won 1-0. The atmosphere was good, we won and I scored the winning goal. I think it was a great game. I remember the Manchester City derby, the 2-1 away win over Manchester City was also a great game. We need to remember a lot of historic games and it's very important for my career to be able to complete the 100-game milestone.

How much do you feel like you've changed as a player from your first time in the Premier League to now?

Friends, from the first game to today, I have changed a lot, in all aspects. The first game was also against Leicester City, where we won 2-1 at Old Trafford. It was my first time playing in a completely different league and I was used to it. I didn't realize I was doing well that, even though I didn't play as much in the first season. But luckily I adapted well in my second season and today I believe I became an important part of the team. I'm really happy that everything about me has changed including the way I play and you need to adapt well. For me, it's an honour to play 100 games for Manchester United in the Premier League and I hope to play more.

What have you been most satisfied with in recent weeks and this season?

I'm very happy with myself and with how I've performed this season. The start of the season was a bit tough for me because I went to the Copa America with Brazil and I missed the pre-season, so I didn't keep up with the team in the first few games. Through hard training at the club and training at home, I recovered. Thank God I did a good job today. I feel good at Manchester United and the Brazilian national team. I hope to finish the season well.

You've scored a lot of goals this season, which one do you like the most?

The Crystal Palace one, like I said before. There was also a great goal in the game against Leeds. We won 4-2 away and it was a big game-changing goal. I think scoring goals is important and it would be more satisfying if it could change the outcome of the game. I think these are two of the most important goals of the season.

You also have some great assists, and Cristiano Ronaldo thanked you for your best assist of the month, remember?

It was a great assist and it takes some skill to get the ball to the flank. Cristiano Ronaldo was astute and he scored a wonderful goal. I'm really happy to be able to offer those assists and goals. Like I said before, whether it's an assist or a goal, I want to help my teammates. I'm going to give my all on the pitch and help the team win, and I hope that continues.

Under Lonnick you scored 6 goals, only B Fee and C Ronaldo scored more goals than you, you often appear in the front position, do you like this position? What kind of new job did Lonnick give you?

The manager always talks to me and tells me to look for space behind the players on the pitch. This is where I am often in the national team, and maybe further back. I love contributing there to goals and assists. I think it's my favorite position, closer to the goal, dribbling the ball, passing the ball to my teammates to score. I think I've adapted well to the team's position. The coach always encouraged me to put on a good show and play important passes to help the team. Confidence is everything, and I hope to stick with it.

What are the similarities between the above role and your role in Brazil?

Very similar, much also depends on the game itself. In recent international competitions, I have played even higher. Against Chile I was very close, almost next to the center. I'm used to playing there and that position is great. It's my best position, I can take the ball and pass the ball to assist. My role is very similar to my role in the national team.

Your performance at the club allowed you to get called up for the national team again, and you played a huge role in the national team's entry into the World Cup.

I've been happy to be part of the team in the last few games to help my teammates, to be precise, to help my country get into the World Cup. I hope to continue to perform well here and I have to play well at Manchester United to be selected for Brazil. I have to keep a firm spirit so that I can continue to be selected for the national team. The World Cup is coming and I will be in the best shape and be called up to fight for the World Cup.

Your good friend Telles has also returned to the Brazilian national team...

I'm glad he's back. He was a true warrior and had always worked hard for his place. I'm really happy for her, who previously played a fantastic game against Bolivia for Brazil. I hope he can stay that way and get calls for the Brazilian national team on a regular basis.

Back to Manchester United, talk about your midfielders, Scott McTominay, Pogba, Nemanja Matic...

They're top players, which allows us to do a lot of rotations. Sometimes Bruno can play a role in the midfield duo. It mainly depends on what kind of game tactics the coach wants. It's very good to have a full squad and all the players are at their best. It is blissful to let coaches have this choice of selection. He can choose the players who play and I'm sure whoever comes on the pitch will do their best to win the game.

Talk about your good partner B Fee recently signed a new contract

He is very important and he is one of the team leaders. We all know what he's capable of, what he's done and the impact he's having on the team and the players when he comes here. I am happy with his new contract and I hope he will take advantage of this opportunity to continue working here for many years. Hopefully he has a successful career and we can win a lot of trophies together.

How important is it for teams to fight until the end of the league? What's the key to the next few games?

The key is that we are united as a whole, united on the pitch. We realize that we are going through difficult times. I know the challenges of the next few games. If we are united, I am confident that we will achieve our goals. We have world-class players who will play a role on the pitch at any time. We need to be united, work closely together, follow the coach's instructions, and train well every week. It's important for our remaining 8 or 9 games. Win the game and reach the goal, and in order to do that, we have to fight together as a team.

How important has fan support been in the last few games? How determined are you to win games for your fans?

I know the fans want the team to get more out of this season and they want us to go further in all the games, whether it's the league or the cups. We can go further, but I'm sure the fans will always support us and I know they'll support us. We will try to be the best we can so that they will fight alongside us. We want them to be behind us all the time, cheering and cheering for every goal the team scores. I'm sure they'll be with us in the upcoming races.

Speaking of fans, teams have the opportunity to visit Asia and Australia on a global tour, and you've been looking forward to the long-awaited pre-season

Everything has become difficult due to covid-19, and everyone is. I'm sure it's going to be great preseason and all of our fans will be with us. We have a lot of fans all over the world, such as Thailand, Australia and so on. I hope the fans will watch our preseason games, have a great time, and support us as before.

The annual team Player of the Year poll is about to begin, who will you vote for?

myself! (Laughs) That's a little hard... We have a lot of great players, they have a good season and I can vote for Ronaldo, Fernandez... But for me, the best player of the season is De Gea. He had a fantastic season and he was there whenever we needed him.

Finally, overall, how do you see your season and what are your goals for the future of the team?

Personally, I think it's been a good season for me. I think as the season goes on, I'm growing and getting more goals, more assists. As a team we know we still need to improve, which is far below our expectations this season. Our goal is still to get into the Champions League, but we want to go one step further. We want to set up great plans and squads to win the trophy again and get United back to the top of the table where it should be.
