De Gea does not do Onana stand-in and refuses Inter's 5 million annual salary invitation! Or return to Atletico with a pay cut

Manchester United have signed Inter Milan goalkeeper Onana, while David De Gea, who left at the end of his contract, has not yet decided on his next move, and it is reported that he has turned down Inter's invitation to act as a replacement for the 27-year-old Cameroonian goalkeeper in Meazza. De Gea's options include La Liga and Saudi Arabia, and he prefers to return to his native Spain.

The Daily Chronicle reported that De Gea, who returned to his free agency, received an offer from Inter, and the Serie A giants were willing to offer an annual salary of 100,000 euros, equivalent to about £4.3 million, but were rejected by the former Manchester United No. 1. Inter are unable to sign a new goalkeeper for free and can now only use part of Onana's transfer fee to try to bring in Sommer from Bayern Munich or sign Ukraine international Trubin.

De Gea's next home, currently the hottest is La Liga, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are interested in him, and "Duck Daddy" may return to Atletico. Diego Simeone is interested in selling his current main goalkeeper Oblak, and the "bandits"'s defensive style of play may also be more suitable for De Gea's goal-line goalkeeping style.

Prior to his move to Manchester United in 2011, De Gea made 84 appearances for Atletico, winning the Europa League. Of course, De Gea's income would certainly be significantly lower if he remained in European football than when he was at Manchester United. Only by moving to the Saudi Premier League can he regain his status as the world's highest-paid goalkeeper.

Football Insider reports that an unnamed Saudi club has approached De Gea and offered him a mega money contract, and there is more than one Middle Eastern patron interested in him.

If he joins Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema in Saudi Arabia, De Gea is expected to receive more than the £200,000 weekly salary offered by Manchester United when he renewed his contract. His former team-mate Telles is about to join Riyadh Victory with an annual salary of £7 million after tax, which is equivalent to £270,000 a week in the Premier League!

Now, De Gea needs to make a choice between staying in Europe to play in the Champions League or joining Saudi Arabia for gold. It is worth mentioning that after the departure of Phil Jones and De Gea, Manchester United has not won the Premier League for the first time since 1993.
