For historical reasons, the three Baltic states can be said to be the most anti-Russian countries in Europe, if not one of them, and among these three countries, Lithuania's "anti-Russian" move is the most well-known. Last October, for example, Lithuania publicly proposed to the European Union that it impose "tougher economic sanctions" on Russia, banning the export of household goods, including nails and sewing needles and knitting needles, because the move would "reduce Russia's industrial capacity." Not only that, but Lithuania has also listed a number of countries, including Russia and Belarus, as "threatening Lithuania's national security." In this case, everyone will inevitably find it very strange, knowing that with Russia's national strength, it actually far surpasses Lithuania, and Lithuania actually dares to provoke Russia, so why does Russia not "take a strong attack" against it? It turns out that although Lithuania is very "amorous" on the surface, it is actually very smart, and Lithuania is actually not willing to really offend Russia, and has long since transferred the "protection money" to Russia's account.
The Ukrainian side recently broke the news that Lithuania has imported more than 12,000 tons of grain from Russia and paid more than 200 million euros for it. Considering that Lithuania has a population of just over 2 million people, it is possible that quite a few Lithuanians will soon be putting grain from Russia on the table.
On the one hand, Lithuania has repeatedly stated that it will not import Russian grain, but it has broken its promise; on the other hand, Ukraine itself is also a major producer and exporter of grain, and if Lithuania really needs grain, it can also import it from Ukraine. But despite this, Lithuania still imports a batch of grain from Russia. Outside analysts pointed out that this is actually Lithuania "leaving a way back" for itself, so as not to really anger Russia itself and have no good fruit to eat.

In fact, Lithuania's behavior can be said to be common in Europe. In February this year, the EU imported more than 900,000 tons of grain from Russia, and even Latvia, which is also called "anti-Russian", imported more than 50,000 tons. It can be seen that although European countries say that they want to stand with Ukraine, they are physically honest. On the one hand, Europe does need Russian goods, and on the other hand, many European countries are indeed not fully willing to offend Russia for the sake of Ukraine.
For a small country like Lithuania, there are many disadvantages if you completely offend Russia, which is why Lithuania resumed importing Russian grain and directly paid 2 million euros.
