According to the news of the Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, on the afternoon of October 29, Zhang Xiaoguang, secretary of the party group and director of the Shaanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, presided over the first meeting of the provincial special class to promote the construction and development of northwest a&f university and Yangling vocational and technical college, and studied and promoted the construction of the new campus of the future agricultural research institute of northwest a&F university and Yangling vocational and technical college.

At the meeting, Northwest A&F University and Yangling Vocational and Technical College respectively introduced the project progress of the future agricultural research institute and the new campus of Yangling vocational and technical college, studied the site selection of the future agricultural research institute, and Zhang Xiaoguang made a concluding speech.

Zhang Xiaoguang pointed out that the Party Central Committee and the State Council attach great importance to the development of the Yangling Demonstration Zone and have given the Yangling Demonstration Zone and the two schools a major mission and task. Supporting the development of the two schools is a major decision and deployment made by the provincial party committee and the provincial government from the perspective of better fulfilling the national mission and promoting the in-depth integration and development of district schools, all relevant parties should raise awareness and effectively enhance the sense of urgency and responsibility of the work, Northwest A&F University and Yangling Vocational and Technical College should take the opportunity of building a future agricultural research institute and the new campus of Yangling Vocational and Technical College to solidly promote the core technology research in key areas such as seed industry and accelerate the transformation of agricultural scientific and technological achievements. Zhang Xiaoguang demanded that northwest a&F University and Yangling Vocational and Technical College should implement the main responsibility, scientifically demonstrate the scale of construction, and accelerate the work of project site selection and feasibility study. The relevant departments at the provincial level should actively guide the two schools to promote the preliminary work of the project, and put forward policies and measures with strong pertinence and high gold content in combination with functional research.
