Former Taiwan leader Ma Ying-jeou was acquitted on October 27. It says "again" because this is not the first time he has been acquitted.

After the special fee case and the leak case, after more than 3 years of trial, Ma Ying-jeou's "three-china case" accused of selling party property at a low price finally fell into the hammer. After Ma Ying-jeou became chairman of the Kuomintang in 2005, in order to get the KUOMINTANG to withdraw from the media operation within the time limit, he entrusted CIC to sell the shares of "China Television", "China Film", and "China Broadcasting" and the old party department building, but was questioned by the outside world about selling the "three Middle Schools" at a low price, suspected of profiting the buyer.

In 2006, former DPP Chairman You Xikun and others denounced the "Supreme People's Procuratorate" Investigation Center in Taiwan, accusing Ma Ying-jeou of instructing Huaxia Company in December 2005 to sell "China Television," "China Broadcasting", and "China Film" to Rongli Company of China Times Group for NT$4 billion.

In 2014, after an investigation by the special investigation team, there was no evidence. In 2016, the Taiwan authorities and a number of lawyers complained again, the Taipei District Prosecutor's Office reopened the investigation, and Ma Ying-jeou was indicted by the Taipei District Prosecutor's Office in 2018.

After being acquitted at the first instance, Ma Ying-jeou expressed his "gratitude to the judiciary for returning my innocence" and called on the public to see clearly the DPP authorities' tactics of using the judiciary to carry out political pursuits and killings, and to use people's power to remove the "East Factory" from the shelves in the future.

Kuomintang Chairman Zhu Lilun said that after Tsai Ing-wen came to power, she vigorously restarted the investigation and the political prosecution was full of axes, "as if Chen Shui-bian was detained, Ma Ying-jeou must also be detained, complete political revenge." Not only is the judiciary abused, but the DPP is now fully involved in the media, and the media have also set up political factions to intervene in the DPP to poison Taiwan's political environment. Zhu Lilun called for the dpp to be removed from the shelves with actions and votes, and to teach the arrogant and double-standard DPP a bitter lesson: "Together we stand up for Taiwan and seek justice from the DPP."

Three years of time, presumably Ma Ying-jeou also argued on the basis of reason, to get this result, or is it such a powerful person with a head and a face, replaced by ordinary people in Taiwan, how much time can be consumed, and how many obstacles will be encountered on the way to prove innocence? There are always heads and tails to the coin, on the one hand, some people strive for their innocence, and on the other hand, some people try to cover up their stains.

Chen Shui-bian's son-in-law, Zhao Jianming, was also sentenced at about the same time. Unlike Ma Ying-jeou's three-year trial period, Zhao's case dragged on for 16 years until October 25 this year, when Zhao jianming was finally imprisoned on suspicion of insider trading.

Zhao Jianming's suspected internal trading of the Taiwan opening case occurred in 2005, the chairman of the front desk opened to Zhao Jianming to reveal the news of the internal line of Taiwan, Zhao Jianming immediately relayed the news to his father, several people took advantage of the low price to buy Taiwan open stocks to earn huge profits.

After 16 years of delay, Zhao Jianming was sentenced to 3 years and 8 months, and Zhao Yuzhu was sentenced to 4 years. Taiwan media also paid attention to the fact that Chen Shui-bian's daughter Chen Xingyu bought a mansion in Taichung City for NT$87.5 million 10 years ago and recently prepared to sell it for 108 million yuan. The prosecution has activated an anti-escape mechanism to prevent Zhao Jianming's father and son from absconding. On October 25, Zhao Jianming's dinner in prison was 3 dishes and 1 soup.

The internal trading disrupted the financial order even more harmful to the shareholders, and its heart was reprehensible, and it was dragged out until now that it had to be sentenced, but Zhao Jianming's father and son were obviously sentenced to light, is this really "late justice"?

Taiwan media have revealed that the stock speculation case is only a small side branch under the big black curtain of corruption in the Chen Shui-bian family; Chen Shui-bian, who was sentenced to a heavy sentence, went around after being released on medical parole and could also host radio programs; Wu Shuzhen, chen Shui-bian's wife, who was also sentenced to a heavy sentence, has never even been imprisoned.

Let's focus on the Hong Kong side again. On November 1, Hong Kong riot leader Lai Chi-ying and eight others were charged with "inciting others to participate in an unauthorized assembly" and "participating in or holding an unauthorized assembly" in the Hong Kong District Court for unlawfully assembling in Victoria Park, Causeway Bay in June last year. Five of them pleaded guilty on the 1st, while Lai and two others pleaded not guilty.

Lai has long been convicted of multiple charges, and was sentenced to 14 months in prison for organizing and participating in two illegal marches on August 18 and August 31, 2019, and is currently serving a sentence at Stanley Prison in Hong Kong. In addition, Lai Chi-ying's crimes of violating hong Kong's national security law and fraud, and "colluding with foreign or foreign forces to endanger national security" have long been numerous crimes. Now exposed to the sun, it is bound to be counted one by one.

Chen Haohuan, a former Hong Kong rioter and convener of the former Hong Kong chaos organization "Democratic Front", also refused to admit guilt, and now he also pleaded guilty on October 26 and was sentenced to 18 months in prison. In response to the failure of the Democratic Front to submit information on its members, activities and funds to the Hong Kong police in a timely manner, the police have taken action on October 28 to search four locations related to it. There are also anti-China organizations that have decided to close their offices in Hong Kong and withdraw from Hong Kong before the end of the year because they are worried about their behavior being exposed. It seems that going all out to investigate and investigate is not just talking.

Hong Kong's national security law is like a sword hanging high, and it is disobedient to dictatorship.
