Many have seen the war drama "Captain Fake," which tells the story of a nineteen-year-old common Defense soldier who became the so-called "Emsland executioner" in the last two weeks of World War II. Artistic inspiration always comes from life, and the film is based on a bloody story from World War II.
The protagonist of the story is Named Willy Herold, who was born on September 11, 1925, to an ordinary German working-class family, the son of a chimneyer.
After much hearing about it, the young Willie soon learned from his father the technique of cleaning chimneys. As a teenager, Willie was involved in the Nazi Youth League, but was later expelled for poor performance. At the age of seventeen, he accidentally returned to the army because of his ability to clear the chimney, and later turned into a paratrooper.
Later, Italy was defeated, and the defeat of fascism was obvious. Twenty-year-old Willie began to think, he escaped from the army, trying to get a chance to live for himself, so he was chased by the German gendarmes.
While on the run, Willie found the car of a dead Luftwaffe captain. So he stole the military uniforms on the car, disguised himself as a captain, and told a big lie, claiming that he was Hitler's aide-de-camp, and was appointed by him to secretly go out on a tour to investigate the people's feelings.
During the "tour", Willie discovered some deserters who were as disgraceful as himself, and he recruited them to his command, proclaimed himself Captain Herold, and went around making a fortune.
Later, Willie joined the Emsland Punishment Camp with his party. There were a large number of deserters held here, almost to the extent that the prison cells were being squeezed out, and the military judges whom the prison had requested from their superiors had not yet arrived, so that no one could decide on the punishment of these deserters.
Seeing a captain visiting, the officers and men of the correctional battalion immediately approached Willie and asked for his opinion. In order to continue to conceal his identity, Willie waved a big hand and set the punishment for nearly two hundred deserters: all of them were punished by death.
No one questioned Willie's identity, and no one dared to question Willie's decision. Starting the next morning, he began a very crazy killing operation. He let wolfhounds bite, whipped with leather whips, and even used anti-aircraft guns to blow deserters to pieces. In just two weeks, he slaughtered a total of 125 lives. This also included a town mayor who surrendered to the Allies.
Willie was also stationed in the best restaurant in town, where he burned and plundered women, robbing women, and doing everything wrong.
Later, when the Allies attacked the prison, he took the opportunity to escape while devising himself "Hitler Chincha", during which time dozens of civilians were killed.
Eventually, he was spotted by his colleagues and revealed his identity as a captain. Later, he was imprisoned, but at the time of Hitler's suicide and germany's defeat, the situation was very chaotic. Eventually no one tried him and he was released.
However, Skynet was not leaked, and in May 1945, Willie was arrested by the British army for stealing bread. The British soon discovered that he was the "deserter butcher" who had killed nearly two hundred people, and they took Willie to court and sentenced him to death.
On November 14, 1946, Willie was executed in Wolfenbüttel Prison.
