Recalling countless fire fighting and rescue experiences, Gao Chenyong was particularly impressed by the 2008 Jihe high-speed tank truck fire and the 2006 cold storage fire. According to Gao Chenyong's recollection, in 2008, a tank truck fire occurred on the Jihe Expressway, a tank truck collided with the vehicle pulling cotton, and suddenly the rear fuel tank of the tank truck exploded, when Gao Chenyong and his brothers were only more than 100 meters away from the scene. "At that time, I thought it was an oil tank that exploded, and at that moment I thought, it was broken! This time it's over. ”
"Hurry up and get down!" Gao Chenyong shouted loudly at that time, and after a while he found that it was the fuel tank that exploded. "There was no danger, but it frightened us." Looking back on this experience, Gao Chenyong still remembers it vividly.
"Another time was a cold storage fire in 2006." Gao Chenyong introduced that the cold storage is a confined space, and the smoke cannot be dispersed once the fire smoke is extinguished, and the heat cannot be dispersed. When they put out the fire and drew water on the wall, the temperature on the wall was too high, the water became very hot, and the penetrating combat suit flowed onto Gao Chenyong's skin, "I felt the hot water flowing down from my back, the water temperature was very high, I was shaking left and right in a hurry, plus the smoke was large, I couldn't see the situation around me, and I knocked the breathing mask open at once." ”

In 2018, the fire rescue team was reformed and transferred, which was also a turning point in Gao Chenyong's career. The 43-year-old Gao Chenyong retired from active service, and he should have had more choices, changed his identity and joined the fire rescue team again.
