From an envelope above, I saw a letter written to Chen Meizhang by the famous calligrapher Xu Baotao in the 1980s. People say that if you can maintain three years of contact on WeChat, you can accept him as a friend, Teacher Chen and Xu Lao have maintained a relationship for nearly forty years, I am really poor, I don't know how to describe the two of them.

Xu Baotao, Trumpet Gull Neighbor, Sai Name Mo Yu Tang. Originally from Zhejiang, he was a disciple of the famous calligrapher Pan Boying. He was the deputy editor of Shanghai Calligraphy and Painting Publishing House, a member of the presidium of Shanghai Calligraphers Association, and a member of China Calligraphers Association. Pan Boying was a professor at Tongji University, and Xu Baotao graduated from Tongji University, which shows the knowledge of the master and apprentice.

Zheng Yimei, the "king of filling blanks" in the newspaper, recorded in his notebook "Yilin Scattered Leaves": "Pan Boying has the number of a madman, and there are those who use the collected poems they publish to kill each other, and they often despise it, or pad it, or stroke their pens." Of course, it is harmless to treat ordinary people like this; but in dealing with some friendly friends with outstanding talents, Pan Boying is very sincere and humble, such as his most respected Shen Yinmo, who has personally written prefaces for Yang Shiji's "Wenyuan Talks about the Past" and Pan Sheng's "Overseas Lu Poems", and even more for Qiao Dazhuang to write biographies, and so on."

I think that after watching Zheng Yimei introduce the relationship between Pan Boying and Shen Yinmo, it is not difficult for me to understand xu Baotao's friendship with teacher Chen Meizhang.
