Shen Yinmo was a key figure in the transformation of Hai school calligraphy, which transformed the old Hai school calligraphy originated by Zhao Zhiqian and Wu Changshuo into the new Hai school calligraphy reconstructed from the thesis style of calligraphy, reversing the atmosphere of only monuments.
In addition, Shen Yinmo's poetic temperament determines that his thinking on life and art is full of poetic characteristics, and the inner part of this poetic thinking, coupled with the external force, makes his personal experience of studying books from the stele to the post, preferring the flowing and beautiful charm of the post to not liking the rough and thick of the stele, and finally rebuilding the calligraphy tradition of the thesis below the second king. He and Yu Youren happened to form a reverse movement, forming a paradox, and became the last scholar-type scholar-type calligraphy master of modern calligraphy.
