During the 4th Guangdong International Youth Music Week, on the afternoon of the 16th, the famous cellist Yo-Yo Ma led the mentors and students of the Music Week and the members of the Guangzhou Youth Symphony Orchestra out of the concert hall and came to Ersha Island Diamond Park, Canton Tower and Zhixin Middle School respectively to bring Bach music "flash mobs" to the public.
At about 14:00 p.m., on the banks of the Ersha Island River on the other side of the Canton Tower, piano notation racks were successively erected. At about 15:00, Ma Youyou and a group of mentors and young people stepped off the bus and suddenly "appeared". Yo-Yo Ma seemed to be in a very excited mood, holding a cello, and as he walked, he "threw a wink" at the pedestrians who stopped by the side of the road.
With the sound of Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 in F major, more and more citizens gathered along the river. Young people who ride by the side of the road, as well as the elderly and children, have come to watch and admire. "With Canton Tower as the background, listening to Bach in such a good place on Ersha Island is very feeling." Ms. Liu, a passing citizen, said. At the same time, two other teams from Music Week went to Canton Tower and Zhixin Middle School. Yo-Yo Ma interacted with the children at Zhixin Middle School and then rushed to the 450°C Observation Deck of Canton Tower.

The six community performances this day and tomorrow were jointly planned by Yu Long, chairman of the Art Committee of the Music Week, and Yo-Yo Ma, Artistic Director, and jointly guaranteed by the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra and Yo-Yo Ma's team.
