"When we received this child, she was in critical condition, with acute open head injury, hernia, acute epidural hematoma at the top of the right frontotemporal... We were immediately transferred from the emergency department to the hospital ICU, and although the hospital experts made every effort to rescue us, the child's condition deteriorated further, and on October 26, he was judged to be brain dead. The relevant person in charge of Ningxia People's Hospital said.
When Xiaoyu'er's parents were deeply sad, they took the initiative to make a great decision: sign an organ donation consent form and let the children "live" in this world in another form!
Xiao Yu'er is a filial piety child, when she lived with her grandparents before she died, she took the initiative to bring tea and pour water for her grandparents, and also learned to make hot water to wash her grandfather's feet. Subsequently, the surgical team began the organ harvesting operation, and communicated with experts outside the province in real time on the details related to the operation through the remote consultation system during the operation, ensuring the safe and smooth progress of the whole operation.
Subsequently, according to the "Chinese organ allocation and sharing system", Xiaoyu'er's liver and kidneys were allocated to 3 provinces and 3 children waiting for organ transplantation. At present, through the coordination of the Ningxia Health Commission and the relevant departments of the airport and civil aviation, under the full protection of more than 20 staff of Hedong Airport, the organs were transported to the relevant provinces and cities in the shortest possible time, and the transplant surgery was successfully carried out by local medical staff, saving three young lives. A pair of corneas in Xiaoyu'er was transplanted by the Eye Hospital of Ningxia People's Hospital for two patients, allowing patients to see the light again.
