Hong Zhanhui was admitted to The Huaihua College in Hunan Province, and his 10-year-old sister was left unattended, so he made up his mind to take his sister to school with him.
During college, he politely refused donations from his classmates and still chose to support himself. Once, because he was selling books, he was once retaliated by a bookstore owner, who was injured in the left eye and nearly lost his eyesight.
Even so, he was not intimidated by the difficulties in front of him, but faced them optimistically with his sister.
What is even more rare is that even after winning the 2005 top ten people who moved China, the most respectable education figure (China), the 17th China Top Ten Outstanding Youth, etc., he remained sober.
Even though Hong Zhanhui is very short of money, and he often eats white steamed bread with his sister and eats noodles without any seasonings, he still refuses countless donations, even the school's special monthly subsidy of 200 yuan, he has not received.
