1905 Movie Network News Recently, "Ocean's Edge" released the latest poster, and Dawn Johnson, who voiced Maui, also announced on social networks that the new trailer for the film will meet with everyone this Thursday.
The film was Disney's first Oceania-set animated film, produced by the original crew of Frozen and Zootopia, directed by Ron Clements and John Musk, who had directed The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and The Princess and the Frog, and Osnat Shurer, who had produced Arthur Christmas.
The film tells the story of the ancient South Pacific region, princess Moyana, who was born into a sailing family, is the daughter of a chieftain, and in search of the legendary mysterious island, she embarks on a strange journey to the ocean and meets Maui, a demigod who can transform into a bird. The two travel across the ocean together, going through hardships with their pet pigs Pua and stupid chicken Heihei, encountering various monsters and obstacles such as Cancer Tamatoa. In the process, Moyana also gradually understood that the significance of the ancestors' voyage was actually to explore their own destiny.
The film will be released in North America on November 23, 2016, Easter, and is expected to meet mainland audiences.
