"It's a sight to behold."
Zhao Yijing used these four words to describe the feelings when he first saw the "spit conference" within the enterprise. This way of not hiding the problem in the face of the problem, but presenting the problem in a witty and humorous way, let him have a strong good feeling.
In November last year, Zhao Yijing, a post-00 student majoring in software engineering, became an intern at ByteDance. For his first internship, he came to Beijing from Chengdu, where the school is located. Whether it is looking for an internship or a job, "corporate culture, platform opportunities, and salary are the criteria for choosing a career that I prefer." And now, the four-month internship made him feel worth the trip.
Recently, the young and middle school media launched a questionnaire survey of "college students' job search power" for 5868 college students across the country, and the survey found that factors such as region, unit type, and industry all affect college students' career choice to varying degrees, and the top 3 companies they selected were ByteDance, Huawei, and Apple. And this year's post-00s are even more varied and self-contained in the face of professional life.
Internet manufacturers have become popular choices, and ByteDance, Huawei, and Alibaba have become top 3 after 00
The survey of middle and young school media found that more than half of college students yearn for new first-tier cities, accounting for 52.57% of the surveyed number, and 32.16% of college students surveyed expressed their yearning for first-tier cities, and college students' yearning for new first-tier cities has exceeded that of first-tier cities.
Wang Yiyu, who studied in a polytechnic college, has always taken "working in first-tier cities" as his goal. However, qiuzhao's "defeat" poured a basin of cold water on Wang Yiyu, who was obsessed with "north, shanghai, Guangzhou, and shenzhen". He seemed to feel that he was still far from the "heartwarming offer". "But you still have to find a job." Wang Yiyu, who was determined to leave his hometown to "break in", aimed the target city at Hangzhou. He learned that the activity of Internet entrepreneurship in Hangzhou is already in the first echelon in China, and many Internet companies are growing rapidly and full of vitality. After a comprehensive comparison of multiple factors such as salary and work content, Wang Yiyu's first job was set at an Internet startup company with a strong development momentum.
When it comes to the consideration of employment cities, Jin Yushuo, a journalism major, admits that Beijing, which gathers many media, is his first choice. "Beijing is an important position for the media, and the employment platform and resources are more abundant than other cities." In second place is the coastal city of Shanghai, where Jin Yushuo attaches the greatest importance to the city's geographical location and more foreign exchange opportunities. In third place is his hometown of Chengdu. As a new first-tier city, Chengdu has performed well in the introduction of talent resources in recent years. "Chengdu is a city I am very familiar with, I don't need to rent a house, I can go home and eat every day." But there is no old saying, 'Less is not into Shu, old is not out of the river', I still want to drift outside. ”
A survey by the media of young and middle-aged schools found that in addition to the new first-tier cities showing a certain degree of popularity, more than 80% of college students hope to enter the Internet industry to work. The survey results show that the most innovative and dynamic companies in the hearts of the post-00s are ByteDance, Huawei and Alibaba.
In the second month of graduate school at Fudan University, Chen Sihan found an internship job. After graduation, she wanted to work for a head Internet company, so she accumulated work experience and ability in such companies at the student level. "The head Internet company has a certain accumulation and scale, which can create better learning opportunities for newcomers, and the first job may lay the work literacy and work habits after that, which can be better exercised in companies with scale and system."
Lv Xiaopeng, a junior in the Department of Software Engineering at Xiamen University, has made the Internet "big factory" the primary goal of finding internships and job searches. Because of his deep interest in game research and development, he has submitted resumes to Companies such as ByteDance, Tencent, and NetEase, is preparing for written tests and interviews, and is looking forward to a smooth turnaround after his summer internship. Due to the professional direction, Lu Xiaopeng found that the students around him all wanted to work in the Internet "big factory", mainly looking forward to the development space in these enterprises. "What you can learn and what kind of development you can definitely rely on yourself, but the platforms of these companies themselves will push young people."
According to the survey of young and middle school media, college students have a high enthusiasm for emerging occupations when choosing a career, and online education teachers, short video/live broadcast operations, and all-media operators are attractive to college students, accounting for 53.29%, 51.30% and 43.36% of the total number of respondents, followed by artificial intelligence technicians accounting for 31.67%, and big data researchers accounting for 35.11%. Among them, artificial intelligence and big data analysis are sought after by engineering students, while literature and history students show high interest in online education and short video operation.
Perhaps because of his father's ear or his practical experience in college, for Zhang Xingqi, teaching is a "somewhat special" profession. "When the teacher faces the students, they will help the students open their horizons and assume the responsibility of guiding the way."
Driven by this belief, after graduating from university, he chose to enter the online education industry and became a teacher at the Qingbei Online School of Vigorous Education, serving as a primary school mathematics lecturer. In his view, online education is a sunrise industry, compared with traditional education, facing a wider range of students and more challenging, "if it is an offline class, you may face dozens of children." But if it is online, you will face thousands, even tens of thousands of children, with wider influence and radiation to more student groups. ”
Post-00s in the workplace love challenges, and some R&D interns have monthly salaries of more than 10,000
In 2021, the number of fresh graduates reached a record high of 9.09 million. Although the employment pressure is not small, college students have confidence in the job market. According to the survey of young and middle school media, more than half of the respondents expected their monthly salary to be 7,000 yuan to 15,000 yuan, accounting for 54.47% of the total number of respondents; about a quarter expected salary of more than 15,000 yuan; and another 2.81% expected a monthly salary of more than 50,000 yuan, which was concentrated in engineering, science and management students.
In addition to salary expectations, the survey found that more than 60% of college students' internship salaries are between 100 yuan and 300 yuan per day, and some trainees in research and development positions have monthly salaries of more than 10,000 yuan, and Zhao Yijing is one of them after 00.
From the beginning of the internship idea, to the submission of resumes, to the receipt of several acceptance letters, "salary, corporate culture, platform opportunities" has always been Zhao Yijing's hard standard for finding the company of his choice. "Compared with several other companies that have received the offer letter, ByteDance has given a higher salary, and the daily salary plus the housing allowance is almost 10,000 yuan a month." In addition to salary, the company is young, and the office atmosphere is free and open, which also attracts Zhao Yijing. He admitted that "I want to do something big" is his original intention of choosing ByteDance.
In the face of career choices, the survey of young and middle school media found that post-00 job searches attach the most importance to the company's development speed and personal growth rate, 60.91% of the respondents attach importance to the company's development; 50.58% of the respondents attach importance to the personal growth rate; 45.54% of the respondents attach importance to the working atmosphere and look forward to harmonious interpersonal relations; 34.46% of the respondents look forward to flexible office hours, as well as free and humane management. In addition, the company's innovation, salary, promotion mechanism, work autonomy, etc. are also the job selection criteria that the interviewed college students are more concerned about.
There are many reasons for resignation, so as the first generation born in the new century, the post-00s who grew up in the stage of rapid development of our society will resign for what reasons? The survey found that the salary was too low in the first place, accounting for 81.42% of the total number of respondents; followed by the work content was too simple and lacked a sense of value, accounting for 61.19% of the total number of respondents; followed by poor getting along with colleagues, poor office hardware conditions, and leaders did not understand, accounting for 42.11%, 38.45% and 32.94% of the total number of respondents. In addition, the canteen is "not good and cheap" and the work time is too early to become the reason for the resignation of some post-00s.
When it comes to worrying about the problems they will encounter at work, Chen Sihan and Jin Yushuo are most afraid of being used as "tool people". "I would worry about meeting supervisors who recruit people to 'do miscellaneous', resulting in no sense of accomplishment in their work." Chen Sihan feels that in his 20s, you must do challenging work, learn more, and accumulate more. The lack of prospects for development, the lack of growth and gains in the job is most likely the reason for her resignation. In Jin Yushuo's view, "In limited land, chase unlimited possibilities." "Only by constantly adjusting and trying can we realize our self-worth in the challenge and innovation of time and again."
Similarly, Lü Peng is also most worried that the work has no room for improvement, the work done has no value, and it will gradually lose its competitiveness in the workplace, and even be eliminated by the "back wave" because of the lack of competitiveness. He himself is a "back wave", thinking of danger in times of peace, and thinks of the rhythm of future development for himself.
Through the survey, it is not difficult to find that this year's post-00s prefer challenging work, if the work is too simple, the company should beware of being "fired" by the post-00s.
After 00, they desperately spared their lives
"Each of our bodies is like a string on a erhu, too tight to break." After ending an internship of "often staying up late until the fifth change", Kim Woo-suk, the former "Desperate Sanlang", realized that the body was the capital of the revolution.
Chen Sihan is a typical example of health maintenance while fighting. Recently, she has not only been able to go to bed early, but also let herself sleep more when she has time, "this is the best way for me to recover", so she has prepared her eye mask and earplugs. There are goji berries and flower tea on the table, but her health does not stop there, "My mother sent me American ginseng, and when I feel tired, I will brew a dip of American ginseng to drink." Recently I also want to try tuina, many of my classmates often go, sitting for a long time shoulder and neck pain, it feels very useful. ”
A survey by the media of the Middle Youth School found that the post-00s did not enter the workplace to maintain their health, 57.06% of the respondents said that they would carry goji berries, thermos cups, health pots and other offices, 42.44% of the respondents chose folding beds, neck pillows, 35.09% of the respondents chose plants. In addition, snacks, coffee, humidifiers, cosmetics, dolls, photos of boyfriend and girlfriend, idol peripherals, etc. are also "workplace must-haves" that post-00s may put on their desks.
Kim Woo-suk, who is about to take up his job, has a lot of ideas about "creating his own office environment", and as a star "fan" (a core member of the fan - editor's note), he wants to bring the idol's surrounding to the office, "such a working environment should make people more comfortable." ”
Zhang Xingqi, who has always had the habit of reading novels, has a copy of Haruki Murakami's "Norwegian Forest" on his desk. Although the main business is not much directly related to words, Zhang Xingqi still hopes to have time to read more, "Words can improve my professional ability from a deep level, such as teaching skills and communication skills with students." In addition, reading novels is also a good medicine for him to release stress and relieve emotions after work.
In addition, the survey results showed some "interesting" phenomena, such as college students' demand for hair growth and hairline powder as they increased their grades; 34% of boys put photos of their girlfriends on their desks, while only 8% of girls put photos of their boyfriends. Regarding internship expectations, in addition to options such as salary, gilding of resumes, further understanding of the industry, and improving their abilities, 14.8% of the male students surveyed expected to harvest love in the internship, while the proportion of female students was only 5.1%.
After 00, facing a workplace that is completely different from the school environment, it is "escorting" the workplace road in its own way. Lu Xiaopeng, who has not yet officially joined the company, has already planned, and after finding a summer internship, on the first day of work, he will put his beloved Gundam handmade office on his desk and ask this childhood partner to "brave the end of the world" with himself.
