Have you heard of Zhou Jianren? I believe that there are still many people who know this name, and indeed he has a very deep relationship with the famous literary giant Lu Xun, because Zhou Jianren is Lu Xun's younger brother, and this brother's later achievements are also extremely good, and he served as the governor of Zhejiang Province after the founding of the People's Republic of China.

Zhou Jianren is 7 years younger than his brother Lu Xun, born in 1888 in Shaoxing Duchangfangkou, according to common sense, as the youngest child in the family, Zhou Jianren should have been taken care of by his family since childhood, but this is not the case, not long after his father died, and his two brothers went abroad to study, and later Lu Xun studied in Japan.
For this reason, there are only Zhou Jianren and his own mother left in the family, in fact, Zhou Jianren is also a very enthusiastic person who loves to read, but both of them have gone out to study, so if they are going out, then who will take care of the mother at home? In this way, Zhou Jianren decided that he must stay and take care of his mother, and his studies could not be delayed, but he chose to teach himself to complete his studies.
After that, Zhou Jianren also served as a teacher, of which his favorite study is the biology discipline, once wrote books such as "Huijishan Caiwu" and other books, and later after his brother Lu Xun returned to China, he began to help his brother go to Peking University to study, although he was only an auditor, studying at Peking University was undoubtedly able to greatly increase Zhou Jianren's experience and knowledge.
Under the influence of his brother Lu Xun, Zhou Jianren also began to participate in various progressive movements, and in the years that followed, Zhou Jianren can be said to have done a lot of work, such as he published articles in Oriental Magazine, Women's Magazine, etc., and he also began to devote himself to the study of biology, and also engaged in translation work.
In addition, Zhou Jianren was also a progressive person who was very enthusiastic about the women's liberation movement, and could be said to be one of the pioneers of the women's liberation movement in modern China, and later Zhou Jianren also organized groups with progressives such as Song Qingling on many occasions, and then rescued the progressives and communists of our party who were arrested.
In the War of Resistance Against Japan, Zhou Jianren also gave his share of strength, he threw himself into the anti-Japanese movement to save the dead, and also repeatedly attacked the ugly face of Chiang Kai-shek's dictatorship.
After the founding of New China, Zhou Jianren was also highly valued, and successively served as deputy director of the General Administration of Publication of the Central People's Government, vice minister of the Ministry of Higher Education, vice chairman of the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, governor of Zhejiang Province, and vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
On July 29, 1984, Comrade Zhou Jianren died in Beijing at the age of 96.
And how will Zhou Jianren's children develop in their future work?
The eldest son, Zhou Chong, died at the age of 1; the eldest daughter, Ma Li, was also extremely bumpy, and was tragically killed in the Tangshan earthquake with her family; the second son, Zhou Pei, was still good and later worked as a teacher in Beijing; the younger son was Zhou Fengsan, who committed suicide by drinking a gun in 1941.
In addition, Zhou Jianhe and his wife Wang Yunru also have three children, namely the eldest daughter Zhou Ye, the second daughter Zhou Jin and the younger daughter Zhou Ruo.
Among them, Zhou Ye later became a newspaper reporter and many articles were selected for primary school textbooks; the second daughter, Zhou Jin, was a high-achieving student in the medical school and went to work at the Institute of Materia Medica after studying in the Soviet Union; the third daughter was Zhou Ruo, who graduated from the Department of Economics of Tsinghua University and later worked as a teacher at Beijing Normal University.
