This year is not the birthday or death anniversary of Andy Warhol (1928-1987), but from July 3 to October 10 this year, the UCCA Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing held an unprecedented exhibition "Becoming Andy Warhol", exhibiting nearly 400 works by Andy Warhol, becoming the most comprehensive presentation of Andy Warhol's works and artistic legends in China to date, and will continue to be exhibited at the UCCA EDGE Art Museum in Shanghai from November 6.

Invisibly, an artistic boom about Andy Warhol has quietly spread in China, and now this boom has also come to Chengdu.
The theme of the exhibition, "15 MINUTES," is a collaboration between independent curatorial agency 3COOL and art'n EGO, taken from Andy Warhol's quote: "In the future society, everyone has a chance to be famous for 15 minutes." ”
Neon tube installation "Condensed Shiny 15 Minutes"
This sentence from more than half a century ago is still very appropriate in the context of today's internet celebrity live broadcast era. The exhibition organizers also said that they hope that every audience can enjoy their own "15 minutes" of art time at the exhibition site.
Wool knitted relief work "37 Degrees Celsius"
Red Star News reporters saw at the exhibition site that the works from 7 (groups) artists mixed pop, graffiti and street art styles, with four colored heads of cartoon characters, graffiti paintings and light installations on shelves, and a huge color knitted relief work based on Andy Warhol's print "Flower" as the pattern prototype. Sculptures, photographs, interactive installations, and an experimental short film Tribute to the Pop Era are also on display.
It is reported that the exhibition will last for two months and end on December 30, during which it will be open to the public free of charge.
