A few days ago, the Chongqing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Chongqing Municipal Economic and Information Commission, the Chongqing Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism, the Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources, and the Chongqing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission issued the "Chongqing Municipal Work Plan for Promoting the Protection and Utilization of Industrial Heritage in Old Industrial Cities to Create a "Life Ribbon".
The plan mentions that doing a good job in the protection and utilization of Chongqing's industrial heritage is conducive to better improving urban functions, enriching the connotation of the city, highlighting the characteristics of the city, and realizing the transformation from the "industrial rust belt" to the "life show belt". The main objectives include the establishment of 140 industrial heritage protection and utilization lists, the establishment of 14 industrial heritage-related museums, the construction of 8 industrial leisure experience blocks and 17 industrial culture and creative industry parks, the creation of 8 industrial heritage parks and 12 industrial tourism scenic spots, the formation of 7 industrial heritage boutique tour lines, the cultivation of 17 industrial heritage brands, and strive to build Chongqing into an important demonstration area for the protection of industrial heritage in China and an industrial cultural tourism center in China.
In order to promote the protection and utilization of industrial heritage in old industrial cities, a total of 68 key projects are listed in the plan, with a total investment of about 33.879 billion yuan. Among them, there are 13 projects in Dadukou, with a total investment of about 6.175 billion yuan.
