The debt dispute between South Korean female singer Zhang Runzhen and her brother, which lasted for two years, officially came to an end on the 29th.
In March 2014, Ms. Zhang sued her brother for a debt of 320 million won, while Ms. Zhang's brother claimed that he had paid off the money he had borrowed from his sister, leaving the rest of it to him by his mother and had nothing to do with his sister. The Seoul Central District Court ruled on the lawsuit on July 10, 2014, ordering Jang's brother to repay Jang Yoon-jeong 320 million won and pay 20% interest per annum before paying off the debt.
Soon after, Jang Yun-jeong's younger brother appealed against the verdict, and the Seoul High Court rejected Jang Yun-jeong's brother's appeal on February 5, upholding the original judgment and ruling that the cost of the appeal should be borne by Jang Yun-jeong's younger brother, because Jang Yun-jeong's brother did not appeal the verdict at the stipulated time, and the lawsuit was officially concluded, and Jang Yun-jeong's brother was required to pay his sister 320 million won and interest according to the original judgment.
