In order to "bless the motherland and pay tribute to the heroes", on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, on August 18, 2020, led by Xie Xinzhan, deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Lixian County CPC Committee and chairman of the Lixian Literary Association, and Zhang Lanyun, chairman of the Lixian Writers Association, 25 writers from all over the county went to the "Tribute to Heroes Pavilion" to collect style.
"Tribute to Heroes" is located in Lixian Inspiration Science and Technology Park, which covers an area of 500 acres, and is founded by Wang Inspiration, a national model of labor, a national patriotic model of supporting the army, and a national model of retired soldiers, so that the whole society can better "remember heroes, advocate heroes, defend heroes, learn heroes, and care for heroes" and inherit the red gene.

In the 3,000-square-meter exhibition area, the exhibition displays photographs, brief deeds, classic discourses, and some physical objects that have emerged from famous battles and battles such as the founding of our party, the agrarian revolution, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation, the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and the heroic models and heroes who have emerged in various historical periods of our army, as well as the team flags, protective clothing, and calligraphy works of nearly a thousand generals signed by the members of the anti-epidemic medical team, more than 500 pieces of various precious historical materials, and 12 landscapes of national level. From the huge oil paintings "Jinggangshan Huishi" and "Gutian Conference" to the top ten heroic models of the whole army, from the largest indoor 815-star military insignia and the "Meritorious Hero" tank donated by the Military Museum, to the Yan'an cave dwelling where Chairman Mao lived, the tables and chairs used when writing "On Protracted War", the tunnels of the Shangganling Operation to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and then to the huge sand table of the North China military exercise, people can't help but stop and observe, and sigh "an inch of blood in the mountains and rivers, an inch of hot soil and a soul"! Everyone deeply feels that the new China's rise from standing up and getting rich to becoming strong is the result of generations of heroic and indomitable Sons and Daughters of China going to the soup, going forward to succeed, making efforts to explore, and stubbornly fighting hard.
When the writers saw that Wang Qiqi had been a soldier for more than 40 years, especially since the 18th National Congress in 2012, he led his family to start the activity of "comforting the heroic model company", "measuring the soul with footsteps, creating miracles with the soul, interpreting stories with miracles, influencing future generations with stories, and telling the future with today", he traveled all over the mountains, rivers and seas of the motherland, visited nearly 200 heroic model companies and border posts of the whole army, and with his own practical actions, created a unique new model of patriotic support for the army, and fought against the epidemic and retrograde Wuhan. When sending 5 million yuan of materials to the front-line officers and soldiers, everyone was deeply moved and proud of their hometown and for having such a patriotic model of supporting the army who was cordially received by General Secretary Xi Jinping.
