It is worth mentioning that after the painting there is Zhang Qianbao, a Wenzhou man in the Ming Dynasty. This is also the first time that Zhang Qianbao's true handiwork has been published. According to historical records, this scholar of good calligraphy and painting, "Yongjia ZhangQian", was tragically executed by Ling Chi in the thirtieth year of Hongwu (1397) by the "Hu Dang Blue Party" and was tragically executed.
A person's character and talent are often not amulets, and sometimes even epitaphs. From the perspective of Zhang Qian's encounter, it is really a bit sad to die of the "butcher knife of politics".
<h1 class="pgc-h-decimal" data-index="01" data-track="5" > "North-South List Case" is not Zhu Yuanzhang's "led" imperial examination scandal? </h1>
Zhang Qian's encounter begins with the triennial imperial examination in the thirtieth year of Ming Hongwu (1397).
Zhu Yuanzhang thought twice and appointed Liu Sanwu, a scholar of Hanlin, and Ji Shanbai Xinyu of the Imperial Palace to preside over the examination.
However, as soon as the results of the examination were announced, there was an uproar in the government and the public. The reason is that of the 51 people admitted, all of them are southerners, and one northern scholar is not recorded. This is also rare in the history of the imperial examination.
As a result, northern students condemned Liu Sanwu and others for favoring southern scholars. Officials from the north also wrote to Zhu Yuanzhang one after another, demanding a thorough investigation.
Zhu Yuanzhang immediately ordered that an investigation team of 12 people be set up quickly to review the examination papers of the fallen and add northerners to the army. Among the investigation team of these 12 people was Zhang Qian, a Wenzhou man who was sometimes the "Right Division Straight Lang".

However, the results of the survey once again surprised everyone. The examination papers submitted by the investigation team were selected by the best, and the writing was not good, and even taboo words were violated. The examination papers of the 51 southern scholars who were admitted before reflected the real talent and practical learning everywhere.
For this review result, the northern scholars certainly did not agree. Against Liu Sanwu and others, they once again rose up and attacked them. Finally, in order to appease the anger of the northern scholars, Zhu Yuanzhang ordered that the chief examiner Liu Sanwu and the deputy chief examiner Bai Yuxin, as well as the 12 people who later entered the investigation team, a total of 14 people, were characterized as "Blue Jade Yu Party", exiled, and executed. At the same time, Zhu Yuanzhang personally planned and admitted 61 people, all of whom were northerners.
At this point, this "North-South List Case" has finally come to an end. As for the results of the matter, both the time and the posterity may be able to see that there is "another hidden plot", which is not so much a "examination incident" as it is another "political balancing technique" of Zhu Yuanzhang.
And including Zhang Qian and others, they have unjustly done the wronged souls under the "political butcher knife" for no reason.

In fact, the 14 people who were dealt with for the "North-South List Case" were all appointed by Zhu Yuanzhang, who were impartial and knowledgeable.
For example, the main examiner Liu Sanwu, who was 85 years old at the time, was recognized by the world for his character as "generous, no city government, and self-proclaimed Tan Tan Ong". Zhu Yuanzhang had great respect for him, and even asked Liu Sanwu's opinion on the matter of Li Chu.
Zhang Qian, a Wenzhou native who was then the "Right Division Straight Lang," was also hand-picked by Zhu Yuanzhang to enter the investigation team. According to the Ming "Hongzhi Wenzhou FuZhi", Zhang Qian "firmly believed in the Zhu Zi Benyi" and studied it repeatedly, and Gai also had a year. Try the Ming Sutra to learn too much. "Mr. Learning should be good", "In Taixue, the three students each ask Mr. Yi with their own karma, and answer as they go."

Then, trusted by Zhu Yuanzhang, why did he encounter such misery?
The key is that these 14 people did not "follow" the intentions of Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang. It can be said that success is also "learning", and failure is also "learning".
This has to start from the historical background of the time.
During the Hongwu period, the Northern Yuan was still there, and the economy of the North was far inferior to that of the South. This led to the victory of the southern scholars in the imperial examination in the early years of the Ming Dynasty. To a certain extent, this has hit the enthusiasm of the northern scholars, laziness has become the norm, and "there are many people who do not want to be".
Therefore, Zhu Yuanzhang considered that "the people in the north have been serving the Yuan for a long time, and the remnants are still thinking of the old Yuan, and they are quite eager to use the name of the fake examination to envelop them." However, the examiners and the investigation team, including Liu Sanwu and others, went against the emperor's original intentions.
In fact, from the perspective of self-preservation, as long as Liu Sanwu and others casually admitted a few northern scholars, instead of laboriously and thanklessly admitting students according to their true talents, they would not encounter great disasters. However, in doing so, I am afraid that they will not be able to pass the hurdle of their own.
Including the later 12-member investigation team, because they were all knowledgeable people, they naturally could not "open their eyes and talk nonsense" in the face of the gap between the north and the south.

Later, in order to collect evidence of the crimes of Liu Sanwu, Zhang Qian, and others, the works of the deeds of the emperors they had been ordered to compile in the twenty-ninth year of Hongwu were taken out and made an article. To conclude that they were writing that Emperor Wu of han sometimes killed them regardless of the severity of their crimes was an allusion to Zhu Yuanzhang's murder of the Hu Party and the Blue Party, thus characterizing them as henchmen of the Hu Party and the Blue Party.
It can be said that "there is no excuse for the sin of wanting to add"!
Looking back at history, the success or failure of honor and disgrace can often not be determined by a sentence of "right and wrong"; but a person's end is often limited to "crime and punishment".
