In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, on the afternoon of June 26, the 14th Red Man Reading Conference with the theme of "Shanghai, the Birthplace of the Party" was held at the Yazhenhai School Art Museum.

Shanghai is the birthplace of the Party, and many major historical events in the early days of the Founding of the Communist Party of China occurred in Shanghai and affected China and the world. Since 2017, Hongman magazine and the Propaganda Department of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee of the Communist Party of China have cooperated to open a column entitled "Shanghai, the Birthplace of the Party" in the magazine for five consecutive years, vividly and detailing a series of major revolutionary struggle events launched and led by the Communist Party of China in Shanghai in the early days, which have been unanimously praised by the majority of readers.
Huang Chen read aloud the article "< New Youth > in Shanghai", which described the important contributions made by "New Youth" magazine to the ideological and theoretical preparation for the founding of the party.
