I planted a guava tree that is eight years old! This year I raised a flock of chickens under a tree, and the manure pulled by the chickens became the best fertilizer for guavas. So I basically didn't fertilize the pomegranate tree, which also produced a whole tree of guava in June, and by a rough calculation, there were nearly 230 fruits in a stubble, and each fruit was the size of a fist.

Fruit flies are afraid of low temperatures, and in winter guava is less harmful to fruit flies, but in winter there are more birds in Guigang, and they often run to guava trees to peck at ripe fruit, so that you have no grain.

I think that although the traditional guava set bag is cheap, it has many disadvantages, such as time-consuming when sealing, it is very impermeable after sealing, the fruit is stuffed with water droplets inside, and even in the hot summer, it is burned by the hot water vapor. A neighbor of mine went to help a large guava grower in the village bagging, and often brought back a snakeskin bag of bad fruit to go home, and many of them became bad fruit because of the bagging problem.
In order to solve the problem of slow sealing when bagging, I thought of using a sewing machine to put two velcro carts on the mouth of the bag, so that I only need to stuff the small guava fruit from the tree into the bag, and the Velcro is squeezed by hand to seal the sleeve.
The bag I sewed with a sewing machine, in fact, the bottom also sewed a mesh cloth with dense eyes, the breathability is very good, the fruit will not be stuffy inside the bag, and it will not form the traditional situation of water mist inside the bag.

The material I sew is some thick plastic film, packaging bags, do not need to spend any money, can be found on the spot, and is secondary use, environmental protection [teeth] [teeth]. In fact, the set of guava does not need the foam grid inside, I also saved this, look at the above picture to know.
This method of making guava bagging I have been using in this guava tree experiment I planted for a year, and the results are remarkable. I make more than two hundred, bagged guavas grow fast, prevent fruit flies in summer, and 95% do not grow worms. In winter, birds can be prevented, and the quality of the fruit has been improved, which I think is very successful.
Now this guava tree basically has one or two fruits for me to eat every day, and sometimes ten or eight a day, which is very powerful! So it's called guava! Therefore, a good bagging can make the fruit of the fruit tree not be harmed by insects and birds, and it is a good harvest.
