Recently, the 16th Chinese National Cultural Festival of Tsinghua University was held as scheduled in the square in front of the Student Service Center.
20 ethnic culture booths were set up at the event site, showing the clothing and decorations, handicraft culture, food, music, folk customs and other characteristic cultures of various ethnic groups in the mainland. Butter tea and barley crisp in the Tibetan booth, special felt in the Kazakh booth, tie-dyeing process in the Miao booth...... All of them allowed the students to appreciate the profoundness and colorfulness of Chinese culture. In addition, games such as pot throwing, bamboo pole dance, and hydrangea throwing also attracted the participation of many students, and everyone experienced the fun of traditional national sports in laughter.

Mr. Nan Bin, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of the Party Committee of Tsinghua University, delivered an opening speech for the national art performance, and Mr. Nan pointed out: "Tonight's national art performance will be a joyful ocean for teachers and students from many schools to show the excellent Chinese culture on the same stage and present the charm of national art. ”

The Tsinghua University Ethnic Culture Festival is a traditional activity to promote ethnic unity in the university, jointly organized by the Youth League Committee and the United Front Work Department of the Party Committee of Tsinghua University, and has been successfully held for 16 sessions, with more than 1,000 teachers and students participating in this year.
