Fushou snail originated in South America, is a large freshwater snail, the appearance is very similar to the field snail, the snail cone is flat and low, the screw mouth is very large, strong adaptability, fast growth and reproduction, high yield. Fushou snail is a heterogeneous eater, which can feed on large aquatic plants, plankton algae, attached plankton, etc., interfere with or change the composition and structure of aquatic communities, and affect ecosystem functions. Its food and excretion is very large, excrement affects the water environment, to reduce the harm of Fushou snail to aquatic plants, should be strictly good into the drainage customs, strengthen the cleaning management of artificial lakes, organize the manual snail picking, regularly remove the shore snail eggs and floating aquatic weeds, to prevent egg blocks and snails, young snails with the drift of aquatic grass. Introduced to China in 1981, Fushou snail is currently listed as one of the first invasive alien species in China, and is an intermediate host for zoonotic parasitic diseases that must not be eaten.
