What are the highlights of the 2020 KBS Ballad Festival?
The 2020 KBS Song Festival came to an end yesterday. On Friday, December 18, some of the biggest names in the K-pop music scene gathered for the 2020 KBS Ballad Festival.
During the 2020 KBS Festival, KBS World takes its enthusiastic audience and followers seriously, especially in these challenging times. They previously said that during the COVID-19 pandemic, music events will take place without live audiences to ensure everyone's safety.
KBS World has indeed delivered on its promise to provide viewers with high-quality entertainment at the 2020 KBS Song Festival on Friday, December 19. They were able to invite all the hottest and biggest K-pop artists to the show. Since so many groups signed up for the music event this year, KBS World divided the show into three parts.

Since so many groups have participated in this music event, there are still many wonderful programs worth watching. The hosts of the 2020 KBS Song Festival are Oriental Shenqi member Yunho, actress Shin Ye Eun and Astro member Eun Woo. The event was held in the new KBS building in Yeouido, Seoul, South Korea.
Highlights of part 1 of the 2020 KBS Song and Ballad Festival
TWICE opened with their hit single "SIGNAL", thus kicking off this prestigious show. The girls wore cute plaid tops and skirts, danced to the melody of popular songs, and had sweet smiles on their faces, which was a very beautiful landscape.
ENHYPEN then took to the stage to sing their "Given-Taken". In their performances, Park Sung Hoon, Ni Ki, Sunoo, Jungwon, Heeseung, Jake and Jay all wear an all-white suit and a pair of black shoes on their feet, creating a very strong contrast.
When Aespa took to the stage to perform their latest single, "BLACK MAMBA," the stage was in full swing. Ningning, KARONA, WINTER and GISELLE wore sparkling furry clothes and looked gorgeous.
ITZY showed its coolness and fascination when singing the song "WANNABE" on stage. Ryujin, Yeji, Lia, Chaeryeong and Yuna looked charming in their all-white suits and wore elegant silver necklaces that completed the look.
Tomorrow X TOGETHER apparently gave their all when singing one of their famous songs, "Blue Hour." Soobin, Yeonjun, Huening Kai, Taehyun and Beomgyu looked noble in all-black clothes.
When MOMOLAND sang their song "Ready or Not" on stage, the stage lit up again and set off a climax. All the girls were dressed in all-white costumes and showed off their singing and dancing abilities.
In the "Special Stages" section, some members of MONSTA X performed alongside Stray Kids, in collaboration with NCT. NCT members performed Dragon, while Stray Kids and MONSTA X members sang Mischief and No Competition, respectively.
The BOYZ then took the stage with their epic dance. Juyeon, Sun Woo, Hur hyjun, Hyun Jae, Kevin, Eric Son, Young Hoon, Ju Hak Nyeon, Q, New, Sangyeon and Jacob performed their song "The Stealer" in their all-black costumes.
"REVEAL" singer IZ*ONE took the stage to sing their hit song "Panorama". Jang Won Young, Sakura Miyawaki, Kim Min-Ju, Kim Chae Won, Lee Chae Yeon, Nako Yanuki, Ahn Yu Jin, Kwon Eun Bi, Jo Yu Ri, Choi Ye Na, Hitomi Honda and Kang Hye Won look very charming in black and white.
When Jessi sang her "NUNU NANA" song with GOT7 member Jackson Wang, the first part of the show was over, and the two's hot dance moves were enough to ignite the entire stage.
Highlights of the second part of the KBS Song Festival 2020
THE BOYZ partnered with veteran singer Sul Woon Do to kick off the second part of the 2020 KBS Ballad Festival. MAMAMOO member Solar also sang a classic song with Kim Yoon Jaa.
Then, (G)I-DLE sang their song "Oh My God". Cho Mi Yeon, Jeon So Yeon, Minnie, Song Yuqi, Seo Soo Jin, Yeh Shu Hua shocked the audience with their performances (people watching videos online).
Stray Kids returned to center stage to perform their song "Dionysus." This time, the boys were dressed in white costumes. Then, it was followed by APink's song titled "I Don't Know." It was followed by ASTRO, who made the stage more lively with their sexy performances, while GFRIEND sang their hit track "Apple". TAEMIN even sang his song "Criminal" on stage at the 2020 KBS Song Festival.
Oh My Girl filled the stage with color, singing and dancing to the melody of the hit single "Dolphin". NU'EST took the stage to a new level with the song "I'm in Trouble". NCT 127 entertained virtual audiences with their "Kick It" performance, while NCT 2020 sang their hit song "RESONANCE".
Highlights of Part 3 of the 2020 KBS Song festival
KBS World shows us in a video how K-pop music has evolved over the years. Then, the video is followed by J.Y. Park and Sunmi perform Wonder Girls' Nobody. Sunmi also sang her hit single "Pporappippam". The duo ended their performance with the song "When We Disco."
When MONSTA X sang the pop songs "Stand Up Together" and "Love Killa," the venue was full of energy. As they enjoyed the music, the boys even showed off their dancing moves.
MAMAMOO brings a stuffy atmosphere to the songs "MARIA" and "AYA" while singing. So GOT 7 then brought fresh air to the sweltering stage with a vibrant song called "Out." When they sang the song "Hard Carry," the stage was red.
TWICE sang their hit single "More & More", and the stage was decorated with a mix of carnival and Christmas to give a Christmas feel, and the girls looked beautiful in black and silver suits.
The finale was BTS, with Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, RM, J-Hope and V singing their pop song "I Need You" and they also sang the record-breaking song "Dynamite".
