On the morning of April 7, a whale ran aground at Fengtouling Beach in Tanmen Town, Qionghai City, Hainan Province, and the nearby masses immediately called the police after discovering it. While covering the whale's body with a damp cloth, the police continued to splash water on the whale and keep the whale's body surface moist, while contacting the Blue Ocean Conservation and Rescue Center for professional rescue.
It is understood that the injured whale is a small sperm whale, with a body length of 2.5 meters and a weight of about 200 kilograms, and the staff of the Blue Ocean Conservation and Rescue Center will initially treat the injured whale and take it to the rescue station for further treatment.
