So far, the Western Aquatic Modern Agricultural Park is the largest concentrated aquatic fish breeding base in the western region. The park takes the provincial civilized village and the first batch of provincial rural revitalization demonstration villages Shengli Village of Julong Town, Yanting County as the core, radiates Zishui Village and Zhonggou Village, and breeds landmark products such as Zijiang Mandarin Fish, Perch, Yellow Spicy Ding and Four Big Fish. Zijiang mandarin fish, also known as "sow shell", its meat is tender and delicious, and in 2019 it was awarded the title of National Geographical Indication Protected Product.
The park has now built a standardized fish pond in the centralized contiguous core area centered on the Western Aquatic Science and Technology Park, and a comprehensive rice and fish breeding base of 3,100 mu, which is mainly distributed in Qinglong and Fuyi towns. Now it has invested 140 million yuan, circulated more than 5,000 mu of land, planted more than 4,000 mu of fruit trees, including more than 2,400 mu of citrus fruits, more than 800 mu of peaches, and more than 600 mu of cherries, pomegranates, plums, apricots, grapefruit, loquats, etc., with a total industrial value of about 130 million yuan in 2019, basically realizing the monthly fresh fruits, seasonal flowers, peach blossom festivals and fruit tasting festivals held in spring and autumn, attracting tourists from near and far flocking to the town, driving the integrated development of the industry in Julong Town.
The western aquatic products and flowers and fruits of the township can be described as "water and land", which has achieved the industrial revitalization of Julong Town. In 2020, the per capita disposable income of the town will reach more than 20,000 yuan, and this year, the town plans to be recommended to create a provincial-level advanced township that implements the rural revitalization strategy.
Xiangxian culture + "whole-discipline grid" to promote the modernization of rural governance
