On March 19, law enforcement officers and sanitation workers were cleaning up their dilapidated fishing nets, planks, oyster shells, and more on a remote beach behind the municipal heat and power group.
After cleaning up the nets and planks, everyone worked together to remove the fishing boats, and then deployed large operating vehicles to clean up the oyster shells and debris.
Li Huanjun, project manager of Dalian Dama Environmental Cleaning Co., Ltd., said that it is commonly known as a small fishing village, and there are often some large and small fishing boats docked at the seashore, and some operators pile the worn parts of the maintenance fishing boats and the oyster shells unloaded from the boats directly under the boats.

According to Mi Jiajun, deputy director of the Xigang District Urban Management Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau, in accordance with the requirements of the comprehensive improvement of the urban appearance environment, Xigang District has concentrated on cleaning up and rectifying the problem of "dirty, chaotic, and poor" urban environment, focusing on cleaning up and rectifying problems such as random piling up of buildings and courtyards, encroaching on green space, environmental sanitation of urban mountains, illegal occupation of roads, and beach garbage; and cleaning operations on urban roads, isolation guardrails, and other municipal facilities.

According to statistics, since the rectification action was carried out, Xigang District has dispatched a total of 6,000 people of various types and more than 800 vehicles of various types.

Remove construction waste from vacant compounds
On March 19, a garbage removal effort was underway in a vacant compound near the intersection of Guangxian Road and Torch Road.
Several workers were holding shovels and, together with a large operating vehicle at the scene, loaded construction waste in a corner of the courtyard and transported it away.
Huang Min, head of the Qixianling Squadron of the Comprehensive Law Enforcement Center of the High-tech Zone, said that due to the long-term idleness of the compound, a health dead end has gradually formed. After discovering the health blind spot in the place, the law enforcement department immediately carried out centralized rectification.
Huang Min:
We plan to clean up all the construction waste here in two days, and then hand it over to the relevant enterprises for supervision.
According to statistics, since the launch of the rectification operation, the Qixianling Squadron of the Comprehensive Law Enforcement Center of the High-tech Zone has used 13 transport vehicles and 110 personnel.
