The main station building has a construction area of 22,800 square meters and a total weight of more than 30,000 tons, which is equivalent to rotating 2.5 triumphal arches by 90 degrees. This also creates a single building translation triathlon with the largest translation area, the heaviest load and the farthest distance in China.
Huge project? 532 walkers work in unison
The main station buildings that need to be moved in the project include 3 floors above ground and 2 floors underground. Due to the heavy load of the building, coupled with the fact that the translation path is rotated by 90 degrees, it is easy to deviate from the track and tilt weightless during the translation process.
For the first time, the construction party used 532 walkers under the building to be moved, which successfully solved this problem.

According to the relevant person in charge of the construction party, the translation of the building mainly adopts the hydraulic suspension control system, which lifts the building with a jack to maintain it at a horizontal level.
The jack is lifted and lowered like a human foot, which solves the problem of uneven track beam and ensures the level and stability of translation.
