Airports in accordance with international practice generally use "city name" + "airport name" to name, foreign countries like to use characters to name airports, such as Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport CDG, New York JFK Airport JFK, three character code is directly the abbreviation of the person.
However, there is no custom of naming airports with personal names in China, generally "city names" plus "the names of the districts, counties or townships or villages where the airports are located". At Kuqa Guizi Airport in Xinjiang, "Guizi" is the historical name of Kucha, pronounced "qiū cí".
