author:Legend of a hero through the ages

Monty (?) ~210 BC), a native of Mengshan, Qi (present-day Mengyin County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, In modern Liancheng Bianjia Chengzi Village, Mengyin County, Shandong Province). Meng Tian was born in a family of famous generals for generations, his grandfather Meng Xiao was a famous general of the Qin State, the King of Qin Zhao, the official Shangqing, and his father Meng Wu was also a Qin general, who served as a Qin general, and joined hands with the Qin general Wang Qi to destroy the Chu State.

Meng Tian has had great ambitions since childhood. He led an army to attack the State of Qi, worshiped as an internal history, and won the favor of Qin Shi Huang. After Qin unified the Six Kingdoms, he led an army of 300,000 to attack the Xiongnu in the north, recovered the land of Henan, and threatened the Xiongnu, known as "the first warrior of China". After Meng Tian defeated the Xiongnu and resisted the enemy for thousands of miles, he led his troops to continue to hold on to the frontier. According to the tactic of "using danger to control the city wall" to control the cavalry, MengTian mobilized hundreds of thousands of troops and civilians to build the Great Wall, connecting the protective city walls north of the three kingdoms of Qin, Zhao and Yan during the Warring States period, and renovating and reinforcing them.

Meng Tian sent soldiers from Xianyang, the capital of the Qin Kingdom, to Jiuyuan, to build a wide straight road, cut off the mountain range, and fill the deep valley, with a total length of 1,800 miles, overcoming the dilemma of traffic congestion in Jiuyuan. This not only strengthened the economic and cultural exchanges and integration of the people of all ethnic groups in the north, but more importantly, it was of great strategic significance for mobilizing the army and transporting grain, grass, equipment and materials.

Meng Tian once improved the brush and was known as the "ancestor of the pen", and it is said that the kite was made by Meng Tian.

In the winter of 210 BC, Qin Shi Huang fell ill on the way to the government and sent Meng Yi to sacrifice the mountains and rivers to pray for blessings. Soon Qin Shi Huang fell ill and died in the sand dunes, and the news of his death was blocked, and Zhao Gao was worried that Fu Su would succeed to the throne, and Meng Tian would be reused, which was not good for himself, so he withheld the edict and plotted with Hu Hai to usurp the throne. He also coerced and seduced Li Si to conspire with them and forge a will. The "Testament" accused Fu Su of not being able to make meritorious contributions outside, but instead resented his father and emperor, so he sent emissaries to give the prince Fu Su and Meng Tian the death of The Prince on a fabricated charge, causing Meng Tian to commit suicide by swallowing medicine.
