The construction of a secondary hospital is part of the exercise's temporary operational base, which is small but well-equipped and can perform surgery to rescue critically ill and critically ill patients. After the hospital was set up, the first "patient" received by Yao Huiyan's surgical group was a "pregnant woman". The assignment reminded her of a scene she had when she went to Liberia in 2008 for peacekeeping. At that time, a local pregnant woman had been in labor for two days, and her life would be in danger at any time, and after coming to the China Peacekeeping Secondary Hospital, the medical staff treated her for the first time, and finally the mother and child were safe.
In Liberia, where medical resources were extremely scarce at that time, the Chinese peacekeeping secondary hospital became a presence that the local people could rely on, and the Chinese soldiers and Chinese doctors became their windows to understand distant China, and many people would say "thank you to China" when they were treated and helped. In that peacekeeping experience, Yao Huiyan felt the glory and mission of being a Chinese soldier, and more than a decade after returning to China, those years are still stirring in her heart.

In the medical detachment, there are 10 female team members like Zhao Juan, who have not yet participated in the peacekeeping mission. Seizing the opportunity of this exercise, they not only exercised their professional ability, but also improved their emergency response capabilities. In September, the peacekeeping base often encounters heavy rain, and the muddy road is easy to make the car fall into, and in this case, the female team members will also rush into the rain to help push the cart together and even carry the car. Their ages range from 40 to 30 to 20, and they are both military and civilian, with the ideal of going out for peace.
