In order to further protect the mental health of adolescents and continue to promote the construction of child-friendly communities, the Wanli Street Women's Federation combined with the practical activity of "I do practical things for the masses" and launched the "Growth Guardian - Mental Health Public Welfare Mutual Aid Alliance" (hereinafter referred to as the "Mutual Aid Alliance") under the guidance and support of the District Women's Federation, the District Education Bureau, the District Health And Health Commission and the Political and Legal Committee of the District Committee.

"We believe that protecting children's mental health and creating a good start in life is not only the work of school and family, but also the responsibility of the community." The relevant person in charge of the Wanli Street Women's Federation said. Previously, some schools in the jurisdiction reflected that children from individual special families had different degrees of truancy, boredom and even hurt themselves, and psychological teachers continued to track and accompany, and found that behind the children's spiritual difficulties there were family disputes, intergenerational parenting and other family problems, beyond the scope of the school to solve, it is difficult to have a fundamental improvement. After learning about this situation, under the leadership of the street party working committee and office, the street women's federation, together with the neighborhood committee, youth insurance, service, safety and police station, decided to gather multiple forces to jointly integrate and establish the Wanli Street Mental Health Public Welfare Mutual Aid Alliance. Psychological counselors, community volunteers, public interest lawyers and other forces will formulate a one-child plan, cooperate with neighborhood committees and schools to do a good job of channeling and resolution, and form a three-party joint effort of family, school and society to protect and support the growth of children.
Xiaoyang (pseudonym) is one of the children guarded by the Mutual Aid Alliance, and at the beginning he skipped class and was bored with school, and a series of performances made the teacher very worried about him. After investigation, the volunteers of the Mutual Aid Alliance learned that there was a large part of the family factor behind Xiaoyang's rebellious behavior, Xiaoyang lacked the company of his parents, and his relatives who cared for him were suffering from illness, making it difficult to give him enough care. In order to be able to help Xiaoyang, the volunteers of the Mutual Aid Alliance docked with the cadres of the neighborhood committee, on the one hand, to alleviate the economic difficulties of the Xiaoyang family through various channels, and on the other hand, to find a "neighbor mother" in the community for Xiaoyang. The "mother next door" will go to the door every morning to urge Xiaoyang to go to school on time, often send him hand-made meals, and will care about his study and health on weekdays, and will shout Xiaoyang to celebrate every New Year's Festival. Under the concern of the "neighbor mother", community workers and volunteers, Xiaoyang's psychological condition has improved, he has changed the problem of truancy, and his performance in school has become better and better.

In addition to Xiaoyang, the Mutual Aid Alliance is also continuing to protect other children. With the help of the Mutual Aid Alliance, 2 prospective orphans in the street are physically and mentally healthy and studying stably. 1 child in distress can insist on going to school every day to study and complete homework, 1 child with bi-directional depressive disorder has returned to school, 1 child with a family, the mother's mood is gradually stable, and the child's learning and life are on the right track. The case of the follow-up intervention of the Mutual Aid Alliance was rated as the 2020 Shanghai Family Tutoring And Family Style Work Innovation Case, and was accepted by the book "The Guardian of Shanghai" compiled by the Municipal Civilization Office.
In order to build a "public welfare + inclusive + professional" mental health service model, so that children are happy and smile. In addition to paying attention to special families and caring for the growth of children in difficult situations, the Mutual Aid Alliance actively expands the service field, through the establishment of a WeChat group of more than 300 people, the opening of "Parent School", holding various online lectures, salons, live broadcasts, Q&A to popularize the core knowledge of mental health. By hosting the "First Global Public Welfare Psychological Service Conference" sub-venue activities, setting up a "worry relief mailbox", and carrying out the "Voice of the Heart" youth debate SHOW to create an environment to enhance the attention of the whole society to mental health issues.
There are currently 48 registered guardians of the Mutual Aid Alliance, including professional backgrounds in psychological counseling, law and education. The team takes turns reading professional books and other systems through the WeChat group every day, mutual learning, joint energy enhancement, and better provide intimate services.
It is understood that the Wanli Street Women's Federation will further expand the service field and strengthen the project brand of "Growth Guardian - Mental Health Public Welfare Mutual Aid Alliance". Actively give play to the role of family, school and society, put "child-friendly" in the primary position of building a friendly community, take advantage of the situation, upgrade on "organizational guarantee, space friendliness, service coverage, social atmosphere, and professional team", seek breakthroughs in "artistic elements, project series, resource superposition, and system promotion", and create a community that promotes the healthy growth of children.
