The "July 7" incident broke out, and the War of Resistance Against Japan broke out in an all-round way. The Chinese nation united as one, and after a difficult and long eight-year War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, it finally won victory and washed away the national shame of modern times. In order to defend the independence and dignity of the country and the nation, the veterans of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression sacrificed their lives and died and fought with blood in the process of resisting Japan's war of aggression. And the lady behind the hero, they also made a huge contribution to winning this victory!

Since the end of January this year, the Nanning volunteer team of caring for anti-japanese war veterans began to pay tribute to 35 anti-war veterans and 22 widows in the districts and counties under its jurisdiction, and just today (the 29th day of the lunar calendar) when everyone was busy buying New Year goods and zhang luo Chinese New Year's Eve meals, nanning volunteers continued to visit the anti-war veterans on the road, conveying the care and greetings of people from all walks of life to the anti-war veterans and widows.
Nanning City anti-war veterans and widows are widely distributed, many are in the countryside, far from the urban area (county seat), but the volunteers regard accompanying the veterans and widows as their own responsibility, tirelessly, weekends and holidays to the remote countryside to comfort, noon, evening in the urban area to visit. For example, on January 30, volunteers from Nanning and Hengzhou City came to Hengzhou City, the hometown of jasmine flowers, to offer condolences to 6 anti-war veterans and 4 widows, and on February 6, they went to Wuming District, Mashan County and Binyang County to offer condolences.
Although the anti-war veterans and widows are old, some of them still have very good memories, and some can accurately call out the screen names of volunteers and recall their previous experiences on the battlefield. When the author was in Hengzhou City to offer condolences, he met two veterans of the 391st Regiment of the 131st Division of the National Revolutionary Army, so the author connected by video link and asked the veterans to talk with Kan Chao, the eldest grandson of Kan Weiyong, the commander of the 131st Division, and the two veterans also mentioned the heroic dedication of the commander of the Kan Division.
In Nanning city, there are four veterans from other provinces, one is Zhejiang, three are Sichuan box veterans, when they received the condolence letter and gift package from their hometown, they were very excited, and the author had the privilege of seeing two of them: The Zhejiang Zhang family rode grandpa, although his eyesight was not good, when he got the gift package from his hometown, he shed tears of excitement and thanked them in Ningbo. Grandpa Yang Fangze, a native of Sichuan, read aloud in a loud voice a letter of condolence from the Sichuan Legion, a veteran of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.
When we came to Grandma Li Zhenwen, the widow of Lin Zhongde's widow, although we did not make an appointment in advance, Grandma seemed to have a sharp mind, prepared good fruits early and warmly welcomed everyone. Grandpa Lin Qirong, who went to Taiwan after the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, returned to Live in Guangxi after retirement, and Grandpa Lin had instructed me before he died that if one day I left, I hope you will often come to see my wife. When we came to Grandma Qin, she said: I didn't expect that the old man was gone, and you often came to visit me. In the evening, Grandma Qin proudly said to her daughter: "Nanning volunteers care about me very much, and this time I have a backer!"
"Ah Qiu", who came to Nanning from Sichuan to do business, learned about the organization of veterans of the War of Resistance in Nanning, led the employees of Nanning Zhekun Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., to buy dishes, and went to Liangqing Nachen Town with volunteers to comfort the two Wei brothers, the Wei brothers were very excited, 97-year-old Wei Wenhua sang loudly, and 95-year-old Wei Wenmao picked up the guitar to accompany, accidentally became a small concert.
Seeing the smiles of veterans and widows, I felt great comfort in my heart.
It is precisely because there are countless hot-blooded descendants like them, defending the country, and the women behind the heroes who have paid in obscurity that we have today's peace!
