On the morning of April 20, 2021, Professor Hu Yan of Beijing Normal University visited Changzhi No. 5 Middle School for research and guidance, accompanied by Feng Hongwei, director of Changzhi Municipal Education Bureau, and some students of the training class of Beijing Normal University. Wang Yueshu, secretary of the party committee and president of Changzhi No. 5 Middle School, and vice presidents Zhang Qiangguo, Cui Guoqiang and Liu Yanli received and accompanied the visit.
Professor Hu Yan is a doctoral supervisor at the Institute of Teacher Education of Beijing Normal University. He was the executive deputy editor-in-chief of China Teachers and the director of the editorial departments of China Teachers and Teacher Education Research.
Professor Hu and his party visited the school's infrastructure and campus landscape, and fully understood the school construction, teacher strength, school running overview, educational characteristics and cultural construction. Professor Hu gave full affirmation and high appreciation to our university for various initiatives and active explorations in the aspects of Lide Shuren and Wuyu.
In the school SiqiTang, Professor Hu gave a wonderful lecture for the school teachers with the theme of "Teacher's Mission", and she elaborated in detail from three aspects: the educational purpose and teacher mission of different value orientations, the feeling of home and country and the mission of teachers in Chinese culture, and the social development of contemporary China and the mission of teachers.
Teachers' concept of education determines the behavior of education, if the teacher's job is to awaken the student's sense of life and value, then the mission can awaken the teacher's authenticity and spiritual subject, teachers can only truly assume the role of student guide in the practice of mission responsibility to continuously know themselves, perceive themselves and realize value consciousness.
Professor Hu's precise guidance has aroused everyone's continuous thinking. In the development of the school and in the exploration of education, we must uphold the original intention, move forward all the way, jointly depict the beautiful appearance of education, and jointly go to the other side of the ideal education.
