It is understood that this is the third time that the car series has been recalled this year. Two recalls were launched as early as February and March of this year for suspension issues.
At present, Ford has determined that the cause of the problem is that the given primer curing time before installing the sunroof frame is insufficient, resulting in the glass not being firmly fixed enough. The recall involves a total of 1,036 Bronco Sport models manufactured between April 27, 2021 and May 25, 2021. Among them, about 233 vehicles have insufficient adhesion between sunroof glass and sunroof frame. As of October 8, 2021, Ford has received four warranty claims regarding this issue, but has not reported any accidents. Ford expects to notify owners starting November 29 and conduct free inspections and replacement of problematic parts for the owners involved.
