Kangxi's two deposed princes Yin Rong, and no one else saw Kangxi's true intentions, but let Yin Chan pick up the cheap

As the crown prince, Yin Rong can be said to be the crown prince carefully cultivated by Kangxi. But later, why Yin Rong was deposed twice, and died in a miserable and secluded life in his old age, so that his concubine Hongchen was suppressed by the Qianlong Emperor, this question is worth mentioning.

According to historical records, Yin Rong's second son, Hongchen, was the eldest grandson of the Kangxi Emperor, and he received the favor of his grandfather from an early age and raised him in the palace. After his father Yin Rong was deposed as crown prince, Hongchen had grown into a young man. He was a virtuous man, so it was rumored that the Kangxi Emperor would appoint Yin Rong as crown prince for the third time because he favored the Hongchen Society.

In fact, for the abolition of Yin Rong, zhengshi said very clearly, Kangxi felt that Yin Rong lacked "love" and did not cherish brotherhood. Therefore, when he was deposed for the second time, he was already in a state of determination, and no one could persuade Kangxi to change his mind.

The reason for this is nothing more than two points:

Kangxi felt that his throne was threatened;

As we all know, Kangxi was a very long-lived emperor and a great father. Although there are many emperors with many children and many grandchildren in history, like him, almost all of his sons have the ability, which is really very rare.

In fact, this also cultivated a large number of imperial voyeurs, can Kangxi not know this? No father wants his children to become untalented, but as an emperor, he can only pick one successor.

In fact, for Yin Rong, he was mainly stained with the light of his birth mother, and he was made a prince shortly after his birth. His own qualifications are also good, and he is proficient in literature and martial arts. If Kangxi hadn't lived that long, Yin Rong probably wouldn't have had such a sense of crisis.

But as his younger brothers grew to adulthood and showed no less talent than he did, he had to think about his future. Although he has the hat of a crown prince and has participated in the government for many years, there is no guarantee that he will become emperor in the future. There is a story in the Draft History of the Qing Dynasty:

The eighteenth prince suddenly fell ill, and Kangxi was very anxious, but As an older brother, Yin Rong did not show the care he deserved. Perhaps, Kangxi hoped that his descendants would be like ordinary folk families, but for Yin Rong, any adult prince was a potential opponent in his politics. So, he secretly began to cultivate his own power.

Perhaps, Yin Rong did not want to understand that he could be the crown prince for so long, which already showed that Kangxi was very much concerned about the father-son friendship. If he continues to be an "obedient" son, no one can replace him.

There is no shortage of examples of forced palaces in history, Yin Rong, as the crown prince, naturally has many fans, and more people hope to be able to make enough of their political capital in a game. However, Yin Rong faced the powerful Kangxi and many brothers who were not weak. Moreover, his brothers also said bad things about him in front of Kangxi from time to time.

For example, it is said that Yin Rong indulged the husband of the wet nurse and also withheld The Tribute of Mongolia. These "incriminating evidences" all imply that Yin Rong is not worthy of being a good emperor. Why did Kangxi choose to believe instead of sending someone to investigate the truth? Because, from these "small reports", he "felt" that the power of Yin Rong seemed to be vaguely surpassing him.

Therefore, Kangxi directly defined The Sex for Yin Rong: "If you want to divide the authority, you can act arbitrarily." ”

Although Kangxi was a good father, he valued the status of emperor more and hoped that his sons would listen to his arrangements rather than show interest in the throne, even if he was the crown prince.

Second, Kangxi's second abrogation was declaring his absolute dominance;

The direct cause of Yin Rong's first dethronement was that during an overnight stay on the way back to Beijing, Yin Rong secretly approached Kangxi's tent to peep and was discovered, and Kangxi thought that he wanted to "kill the king", so he directly abolished it. The "Draft History of the Qing Dynasty" says this about this period of history, when Kangxi wanted to abolish Yin Rong, he said a large paragraph of reasons: "Yun Rong was lawless, did not obey the precepts of the People, wantonly abused the people, violently and fornicated, and tolerated for twenty years." The "Yun Rong" here is the name that Yongzheng re-changed after succeeding to the throne.

This passage is very powerful, saying that Yin Rong did not respect the rules of his ancestors, did not listen to Kangxi's words, and had bad character, and Kangxi had tolerated him for 20 years. If according to this statement, it can be inferred that Kangxi could no longer tolerate Yin Rong, so why did he release him in the same year and reinstate him as crown prince the following year?

In fact, Kangxi wanted to educate his sons well through this matter.

Although he was a father, he was more of an emperor. As a prince, the first thing to abide by is the royal rules, and then there are other things. It can be seen that abolishing heli is only a sentence of Kangxi. However, Yin Rong did not seem to understand it, and thought that his position in Kangxi's heart was irreplaceable.

However, Yin Rong's brothers saw it very clearly and waited for him to make a mistake. Originally, their hopes were not great, but as soon as Kangxi made this move, they seemed to see the signal, and almost all of them formed gangs. Isn't this the old way of yin, how could Kangxi give them the position?

Therefore, until Kangxi's death, no one knew who the crown prince was. As a result, the version of Yongzheng's succession to the throne flew all over the sky. However, some people analyzed that Kangxi needed a skilled successor in order to maintain the continued rule of the Manchu Qing.

If the words of the Qing History Manuscript are really from Kangxi's words, then Kangxi may want a "benevolent king". But unfortunately, none of his sons seemed to be able to guess his father's thoughts, only Yin Chan (Yongzheng) acted like an outsider. Perhaps, Kangxi would not have thought that, in fact, in Yin Chan's eyes, there were no brothers of his.

To sum up, Kangxi deposed the crown prince more out of the need for imperial rule, and he and his sons were just a relationship between kings and subjects.
