Masakazu Tamura's representative works include the TV series "Renzaburo Furuhata", "Sleep Crazy Shiro", "Daddy is the Anchor", "Beautiful Man" and so on. He has won several Japanese Drama Academy Awards for his series of drama series Renzaburo Furuhata.

Masakazu Tamura was born in Kyoto Prefecture to the son of Japanese movie star Saburō Hanto. Together with his eldest brother Takahiro Tamura and Ryo Tamura, he is known as the "Three Tamura Brothers". Masakazu Tamura officially embarked on the road of acting in 1961 when he starred in "Forever Man", and later starred in many film and television works such as the Okawa drama "Taikoku" and the era drama "Taikoku".

In 1972, Masakazu Tamura starred in the main role of Crazy Shiro in "Sleep Crazy Shiro", and in the 1980s, he starred in the family drama "Daddy is a News Anchor".
