On October 26, the autonomous regional government issued the "Three-year Action Plan for the Improvement and Revitalization of Education in Guangxi (2021-2023)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"). Our district plans to use 3 years to implement the "Ten Plans" for education, make up for the shortcomings of education development, and promote the high-quality development of education in Guangxi.
Preschool education: Actively develop inclusive private kindergartens
According to the "Plan", our district will continue to strengthen the construction of public kindergartens, build 150 new public kindergartens, renovate and expand a number of public kindergartens, and give priority to supporting new public kindergartens in areas with insufficient public preschool education resources.
At the same time, our district will actively develop inclusive private kindergartens and encourage and guide social forces to hold inclusive private kindergartens. In accordance with the standard of 200 yuan per student per school year, the autonomous region will give inclusive private kindergartens an award, and the required funds shall be borne by the finance department at the same level of the autonomous region. Cities and counties should introduce corresponding incentive policies for inclusive private kindergartens, give appropriate rewards and subsidies, and the required funds shall be borne by the city and county finances at the same level.
Our district also plans to carry out the county preschool education universal inclusive supervision and evaluation. By 2023, no less than 20% of counties (cities, districts) in the whole region will be recognized by the state through the county preschool education universal and inclusive supervision and evaluation.
Compulsory education: 100 new compulsory schools were built
Our district will improve the layout of urban and rural compulsory education schools, strengthen the construction of urban compulsory education schools, and expand the supply of urban school degrees in an orderly manner. Support the establishment of township boarding schools to ensure the boarding needs of students who travel far away. Retain the teaching points of remote mountainous areas and natural villages with 0 to 3 kilometers of border.

Accelerate the standardization of compulsory education schools and improve the conditions for running schools. The autonomous region will give each new primary school an award supplementary fund of 10 million yuan, and each new junior high school will be awarded a supplementary fund of 20 million yuan. By 2023, 100 new compulsory education schools will be built, a number of compulsory education schools will be renovated and expanded, and large class sizes will be basically eliminated.

Our district will promote the development of ordinary high schools with high quality characteristics, and form a development pattern of ordinary high schools with reasonable distribution between urban and rural areas and the combination of stratification and classification. Continue to promote the construction of star-rated characteristic ordinary high schools, and create 30 autonomous region-rated characteristic ordinary high schools.
In addition, our district will improve the middle and high school academic level examination system, formulate the implementation plan for the new curriculum of ordinary high schools and the comprehensive reform plan of the college entrance examination, and coordinate to promote the reform of the ordinary high school curriculum and the comprehensive reform of the college entrance examination. By 2023, 50 autonomous region general high school subject curriculum bases, 3 ordinary high school new curriculum and new teaching materials will be built to implement autonomous region-level demonstration areas and 100 demonstration ordinary high schools.
Vocational education: the construction and expansion of a number of secondary vocational schools
In terms of vocational education, our district will strengthen the basic capacity building of vocational education. Focus on supporting schools to strengthen the construction of standards in terms of teacher staffing, school building area, practical training conditions, and book allocation. Support the construction, renovation and expansion of a number of secondary vocational schools.
By 2023, the conditions for running secondary vocational schools in the whole region will be basically achieved, and 120 demonstration secondary vocational schools and 11 high-level higher vocational schools in the autonomous region will be created. Our district also plans to promote the two-way flow of enterprise engineering and technical personnel, high-skilled talents and vocational school teachers. Encourage industry leaders or backbone innovative enterprises to make full use of market mechanisms, and unite colleges and universities, vocational schools, scientific research institutions, etc. to form autonomous region-level demonstration industry-education integration groups (alliances).
Higher education: Accelerate the construction of first-class universities and first-class disciplines
The "Plan" calls for accelerating the construction and development of the Nanning Education Park, and by 2023, 15 schools and 100,000 students in the park will be put into use in the new campus in the Nanning Education Park.
Our region will improve the dynamic adjustment mechanism of ordinary undergraduate majors, vigorously develop undergraduate majors urgently needed for Guangxi's economic and social development, and strengthen the training of shortage professionals. Strengthen the construction of first-class undergraduate majors, focusing on supporting the construction of 150 national-level and 315 autonomous region-level first-class professional construction points.
In addition, our region will accelerate the construction of first-class universities and first-class disciplines, support Guangxi University, Guangxi Normal University, Guangxi Medical University and other three universities to build domestic first-class universities; focus on key areas and discipline frontiers, and accelerate the implementation of first-class discipline construction projects in Guangxi universities.
Well-rounded: Equip each student with one or two motor skills

In the next three years, our district will incorporate labor education into the whole process of talent training, strengthen the construction of labor education sites in schools and labor education practice bases outside schools, and create 20 labor education practice bases for primary and secondary schools in the autonomous region.
At the same time, the "Plan" puts forward higher requirements for the social collaborative education mechanism of home and school: home and school should coordinate to strengthen the management of homework, sleep, mobile phones, reading materials and physical fitness of primary and secondary school students to promote the healthy growth of students; schools should cooperate closely with home and school through parent schools, parent committees, parents' associations and other channels.
