A suicide note that has been sleeping for 73 years reveals the story of the female underground worker Dan Xin's battle against the party and her loyal revolutionary love

A legend of love and faith

Quanzhou Network, July 2 (Reporter Wu Zhiming Correspondent Lian Jiangang Chen Xiaoyan Chen Tengpeng Text/Photo) "In the past sixteen years, we have stood on our posts at every moment in the past sixteen years to fight for the integrity of the country's territory and for the complete liberation of the people! Never interrupted! ”

"Your career is my career!" This is the people's cause! ”

……

Yesterday, the reporter saw a suicide note that had been sleeping for 73 years in the Xinzhai community of the mountainside street in Quangang District. This is a letter written by Wang Dihua to her husband Tang Yanfu before his death in 1948, which tells the story of the two men who have been engaged in underground work for 16 years, the battle story of Dan's heart to the party, the bloody glory, and the loyal revolutionary love.

What kind of feelings make a woman still worry about the revolutionary cause in the last moments of her life? What kind of spirit is it for a wife, in her last letter to her husband, to pray that her husband will take on a greater fighting task in the people's liberation struggle, so that the Chinese people will be liberated as soon as possible? On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the reporter interviewed Tang Yanfu's grandson Chen Qing and listened to the moving story behind it.

Unexpectedly found a female revolutionary's letter

Yesterday, General Secretary Xi Jinping mentioned in his speech at the meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China: "One hundred years ago, the pioneers of the Communist Party of China founded the Communist Party of China, forming the great spirit of adhering to the truth, adhering to ideals, practicing the original intention, undertaking the mission, not being afraid of sacrifice, heroic struggle, loyalty to the party, and living up to the people, which is the source of the spirit of the Communist Party of China." ”

A few days ago, at the theme education activity of "Learning Party History, Talking About Red People, inheriting Red Genes" held by the Party Branch of Xinzhai Community in Shanbei Street, Quangang District, Chen Qing shared this letter, and the listeners all shed tears.

Chen Qing, a policeman in the Fujian Provincial Public Security Department, said that since the beginning of this year, various localities have actively carried out party history study and education, and when he knew that grandpa was an old revolutionary, he asked his father if he had left anything behind. At the end of April, his father gave him a package wrapped in old newspapers with various documents and letters from his grandfather, one of which caught his attention. This is a suicide note written to grandpa by grandpa's ex-wife Wang Dihua in Jinjiang in 1948. Before that, the family did not know Wang Dihua, not even her name.

Through this letter and some records of my grandfather, we learned that the two participated in the underground revolution together for 16 years, traveled to Quanzhou, Xiamen, fuzhou and other places, were arrested together, tortured, and almost sacrificed. The latter two went to Vietnam to continue the revolution at the CPV Central Committee. Chen Qing said that the two later returned to the motherland.

Chen Qing told reporters that on March 1, 1948, Wang Dihua lay on a hospital bed and wrote this suicide note to her husband Chen Peng (Tang Yanfu's pseudonym). At the last moment of her life, she reviewed her short and rich life with a suicide note, and made the deepest footnote for loyal love and the original intention of the revolution. After 11 days, she died quietly at the age of 33.

The revolutionary will is engraved between the lines

General Secretary Xi Jinping said in his speech at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China: "Over the past hundred years, the Communist Party of China has carried forward the great spirit of party building, built up the spiritual genealogy of Chinese communists in its long-term struggle, and tempered a distinct political character. History flows endlessly, and the spirit is passed on from generation to generation. We must continue to carry forward the glorious tradition, continue the red blood, and always inherit and carry forward the great spirit of party building! ”

Yesterday, the reporter learned about Wang Dihua's deeds from readers and saw this yellowed letter.

In the letter, Wang Dihua said: "The two of us combine the same position, the same step and the same goal to form a solid foundation of love, no matter in any difficult situation, there has been no setback, no wavering, no reduction, but the love has been further consolidated." This is the sanctity of love, the greatness of love! "In the past sixteen years, facts have proved that no matter what kind of bribery, threat, division, or provocation of the reactionary clique, it can maintain a consistent position and a consistent attitude. This is something that very human beings can do. This is the great revolution that creates great love! The words revealed their love for their husbands.

What is even more touching is her concern for the cause of the revolution: "I know that my body will eventually be destroyed, and it is difficult for me to continue to accompany you in your struggle for the cause of the liberation of the people." This is the thing I regret the most, and the one I hate the most! "I have long planned how to assist you, and I do not want you to be entangled in trivial matters so that you can concentrate on fighting to the end for the great cause of the liberation of the people." But now? Isn't everything the most hated thing in life when everything becomes illusory? "After I have said goodbye to you forever, you have tried to devise as good a way as possible to raise your children, and try to avoid hindering the progress of your career!" Your career is my career! This is the people's cause! In the face of illness and torture, Wang Dihua's only regret is that he cannot continue to accompany Tang Yanfu and assist him in completing his great ambitions. The book of more than a thousand words embodies her unswerving love belief to the death, and embodies her deep pursuit of national righteousness and revolutionary cause.

Lin Jinhui, director of the Party History and Local History Research Office of the Quangang District CPC Committee, said that Wang Dihua is the wife of Tang Yanfu, commander-in-chief of the "Huibei Anti-Donation Alliance," secretary of the Hui'an County CPC Committee of the Communist Youth League, and acting secretary of the Hui'an County CPC Committee. She and Tang Yanfu accompanied each other for 16 years, in the same boat in the storm, participated in the Great Armed Struggle in Northern Huibei and the anti-imperialist struggle in southern Fujian, and organized contacts with overseas Chinese in Vietnam to carry out national salvation activities, silently accompanying him and protecting him. However, little information is available about her, and the letter was unearthed for the first time. This piece of pure revolutionary original intention, which appears from thin letterheads, comes from the depths of history, and although it has been invaded by the years, it is still moving to read. The revolutionary ancestors' unremitting will to fight, their boundless love for the motherland and the people, and their firm belief in the bright future of the revolutionary cause have deeply infected future generations and always spurred us to keep firmly in mind our original mission and strive to promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. ”
