A few days ago, designated by the Weifang Municipal Discipline Inspection Commission Supervision Commission, the Discipline Inspection Commission of Kuiwen District of Weifang City conducted a case review and investigation of Wang Peng, full-time deputy secretary of the general party branch of the former organ of the Weifang Municipal Political and Legal Committee and director of the first-level section, for serious violations of discipline and law.

After investigation, Wang Peng lost his ideals and convictions, betrayed his original mission, had no fear, was lawless, repeatedly refused to organize education and rescue, colluded with others, and resisted organizational review; ignored honesty and discipline, and engaged in illegal for-profit activities by setting up enrollment centers and investing in commercial projects; abused his power for personal gain and interfered in law enforcement activities by taking advantage of his position; engaged in usurious lending and cash-out activities in violation of the law; and took advantage of his own authority and position to seek improper benefits for others and accept bribes.

Wang Peng's violation of political discipline, honesty discipline, work discipline, and state laws and regulations constitutes a violation of official duties and is suspected of accepting bribes, and he has not relented or relented after the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China. In accordance with the "Regulations on Disciplinary Punishment of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Law of the People's Republic of China on The Punishment of Public Employees in Government Affairs," and other relevant provisions, after studying the meeting of the Committee of the Political and Legal Committee of the Weifang Municipal CPC Committee, it was decided to give Wang Peng the punishment of expulsion from the party and dismissal from public office; to transfer his suspected crimes to the procuratorial organs for examination and prosecution in accordance with law, and the property involved was transferred with the case.
