The story of this drama and the cooking class take place in the same air force station, telling the story of the health team that often appears in "Cooking", which is a different part of the "Cooking" series. The timeline of the show should basically coincide with "Cooking 3". (In the play, it is mentioned that the old cow and the bird sister are married, which is the plot in Cooking 3). In the play, there are often people from the cooking class who come to make cameos, and the starring words have cameos in addition to Lao Gao and Da Zhou.
This drama shows the spiritual outlook and hard work attitude of the medical workers in the new era, and shows the achievements of the military's military service cause and service to the soldiers.
III. The Story of the Police Station (Hong Jiantao Edition) (2009)
Directed by Hong Jiantao, the drama tells the story of the big and small things that happen every day in a community police station.
Many of the actors in the play are the original team members in "The Story of the Cooking Class", and the seven main actors (including Wang Ban) are also all starring in the play. In addition, there are some actors in the play, such as Xiao Jian and Xia Jiawei, who did not appear in "Cooking".

IV. The Story of a College Student Soldier (Part I and PART II) (2011, 2013)
This drama tells the story of a group of college students and soldiers in the recruit company, reflecting the new generation of young people in our country who have the ambition to serve the country.
The six main actors in the cooking class have all had cameos in it except Fan Ming. In terms of plot, it can be seen as a half-sequel to "Cooking" (about four or five years after the finale of "Cooking 3"), because some actors play characters and cooking classes can still be picked up. For example, Deputy Wang Ban was first transferred to the guard company, and then to the recruit company; Mao Bao was transferred to the recruit company as the head of the cooking squad; Shuai Hu was admitted to the military academy, and after graduation, he was promoted to platoon leader; Jiang Chao continued to stay in the field company, but did not work in the cooking squad (because he was doing the business of driving birds, and depending on the rank of sergeant, it was seriously suspected that he had taken over the position of a squad leader); Da Zhou may not have been discharged from the army for some reason, continued to stay in the army, and became a veteran. The main theme of this drama is basically the spirit of "retiring without retreating" and "if there is a war, it will be recalled".
In the first episode, the six main actors of the cooking class made a collective appearance, and the scene was really high-burning throughout the whole process. Seriously, when the phrase "enter the new century and have the dream of military service in your heart" sounded, for a moment there was really an indescribable sense of long-term absence that came to mind. But in the second episode, Hong Banchang, Lao Gao, and Shuai Hu inexplicably left, and the names and identities of the remaining Zhou Xiaobin, Mao Bao, and Jiang Chao in the play have all changed.
Although the screenwriter of this drama is still Xu Jundong, because there are only three cooking six people left that year, and the other leading actors are not the original centaurs, the overall acting skills of the actors have suddenly become lower. (The actor of Yang Yang in the play is Liu Siyan, one of the main actors in "Health Team", playing the female soldier squad leader in "College Student", and she once played the role of Wuyun in another naval theme TV series that I like very much, "Fire Blue Blade", which is very successful, and it is reasonable to say that the acting skills should be very good, but in this drama, I don't know if it is because of the role setting, anyway, I feel that the acting is a bit awkward) But I think the Dong Ming (actor Dong Jingchuan) acting skills inside are still quite good, basically can be with Zhou Xiaobin, Mao Bao, Jiang Chao is comparable (single refers to the play "Gang"), and many of the laughs in this play are contracted by him.
