According to the national food safety standards, individual items are unqualified, and their products are judged to be unqualified products. The unqualified samples included rice flour, wine sausage, sesame blending oil, edible plant blending oil, assorted sauce, vinegar, coconut juice, etc., involving Wanning, Lingao, Haikou, Ding'an and other cities and counties.

According to reports, the Hainan Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau this time sampling catering food 47 batches, unqualified samples 2 batches; sampling meat products 110 batches, unqualified samples 1 batch; sampling edible oil, oil and fat and their products 86 batches, unqualified samples 3 batches; sampling condiments 92 batches, unqualified samples 2 batches; sampling beverages 74 batches, unqualified samples 3 batches; sampling soybean products 172 batches, dairy products 99 batches, grain processing products 950 batches, all qualified samples.

Non-conforming products include:

(1) Rice noodles sold by Wanning Wancheng Qingmei Acid Powder Shop and rice noodles sold at Wanning Wancheng Qiongnan Snack Bar, the inspection items dehydroacetic acid and its sodium salt (measured in terms of dehydroacetic acid) do not meet the provisions of national food safety standards. It is understood that dehydroacetic acid and its sodium salt, as a food additive, are widely used as preservatives and have a strong inhibitory effect on mold. The National Standard for Food Safety and the Standard for the Use of Food Additives (GB 2760-2014) stipulate that dehydroacetic acid and its sodium salt shall not be used in rice noodle products. Long-term consumption of dehydroacetic acid and its sodium salt exceeding the standard products may have a certain impact on human health.

(2) Sausage Chorizo (production date: 2020-08-29, specification: 1kg/pack) produced and sold by Hainan Rheins Food Co., Ltd., was found by Guangzhou Inspection and Testing Certification Group Co., Ltd. to be nitrite (based on sodium nitrite) that does not meet the national standards for food safety. Hainan Rhines Food Co., Ltd. raised objections to the inspection results and applied for re-inspection; after the re-inspection of the Guangzhou Station of the National Light Industry Food Quality Supervision and Inspection, the preliminary inspection conclusion was maintained.

The reporter learned that nitrites mainly include sodium nitrite and potassium nitrite, as a color protector and preservative, can make meat products appear bright red, but also can inhibit the growth and reproduction of Clostridium botulinum. The National Standard for Food Safety and the Standard for the Use of Food Additives (GB 2760-2014) stipulate that sodium nitrite and potassium nitrite are used in cured bacon products and sauce and marinated meat products, and the maximum amount of residue (in terms of sodium nitrite) is 30mg/kg. After nitrite enters the blood, it can oxidize the ferrous hemoglobin in the blood to methemoglobin, and under acidic conditions (such as in gastric juice), it is easy to react with amines to form nitroso compounds. Excessive ingestion of nitrite (usually accidentally ingested) may cause acute poisoning, which is clinically manifested as hypoxia symptoms such as lips, nail hair tongs, and purple spots on the skin, accompanied by dizziness, nausea and other symptoms.

(4) The brewed vinegar (production date: 2020-08-02, specification: 480ml/bottle) produced by Haikou Hongzhida Condiment Co., Ltd. sold by Longhua Branch of Hainan Mingzuo Industrial Co., Ltd., the total acid of the inspection project does not meet the provisions of the national standard for food safety. Total acid mainly reflects the level of process in the production and fermentation process, generally due to impure strains or the introduction of miscellaneous bacteria in the process. Total acid is the quality index of vinegar and is one of the important characteristic indicators reflecting its characteristics. The higher the total acid content, the stronger the sour taste of vinegar. "GB/T 18187-2000 Brewing Vinegar" stipulates that the total acid in brewing vinegar should be ≥ 3.50g/100mL.

(5) The assorted sauce (production date: 2020-08-25, specification: 300 g/bottle) produced by Haikou Meilan Xinhai Star Sauce Factory sold by Haikou Meilan Lefu Commercial Co., Ltd., the test item cyclamate (measured in terms of cyclohexyl aminosulfonic acid) does not meet the provisions of the national standard for food safety. Sodium cyclohexylsulfamate (cyclamate) is a common sweetener that is 30-40 times sweeter than sucrose. It can be widely used in bread, pastries, beverages, prepared wine, pickled vegetables and preserves. The National Standard for Food Safety And the Standard for the Use of Food Additives (GB 2760-2014) stipulates that the maximum use of cyclamate in compound seasonings is 0.65 g/kg. Long-term excessive consumption of foods with cyclamate exceeding the standard may have a certain impact on human health.

(6) Pulp coconut juice (plant protein beverage) produced by Hainan Happiness Food Co., Ltd. (production date: 2020-01-04, specification: 245g/can) sold by Ding'an Fuwen Debin Vice Food Store; freshly squeezed coconut juice (plant protein beverage) produced and sold by Hainan Nongken Junyuan Food and Beverage Co., Ltd. (production date: 2020-01-06, specification: 245ml/bottle) Hainan Yinghang Aviation Beverage Co., Ltd. sold the nominal Hainan Yinghang Aviation Beverage Co., Ltd. entrusted Hainan Huaxinran Food Co., Ltd. to produce coconut Shao original flavor coconut juice (plant protein beverage) (production date: 2020-08-04, specification: 245mL / can), by the Guangzhou Inspection and Testing Certification Group Co., Ltd. inspection found that the protein does not meet the national food safety standards. The above-mentioned enterprises raise objections to the inspection results and apply for re-inspection; after re-inspection, the preliminary inspection conclusion is maintained.

It is understood that the protein in plant protein drinks comes from the raw materials containing protein in the beverage, and the unqualified protein content is mainly due to the fact that the production enterprises have not strictly followed the formula, or deliberately reduced the proportion of protein-containing raw materials in order to reduce costs.

In view of the unqualified products found in the above-mentioned sampling inspection, the local market supervision department has taken measures to investigate and deal with them according to law, and ordered food production enterprises to find out the flow of products, recall unqualified products, analyze the reasons for rectification; order the relevant units in the food business link to immediately take measures such as removing shelves to prevent and control risks.
