Throw out Guo Moruo's "love history" and suppress literary fans, xie Bingying in her later years is no longer a "female soldier"

Xie Bingying (1906~2000), together with Xie Wanying (Bingxin), Su Xuelin, Feng Yuanjun, etc., belonged to the "May Fourth" female writers group, and was famous in the literary world for her masterpiece "Autobiography of a Female Soldier".

When she was young, she kept up with the times.

In 1926, he entered the girls' team of the Wuchang Central Military and Political School (the predecessor of the Whampoa Military Academy), and in 1927, he accompanied the Northern Expedition and was later awarded the rank of major general.

In 1930, he initiated the establishment of the Peking Left-wing Writers' Union with his fans and served as an executive committee member;

In 1933, he participated in the Fujian People's Government established by Li Jishen, Jiang Guangnai, Cai Tingkai and others to oppose Chiang Kai-shek's resistance to Japan;

In 1937, after the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the "Hunan Women's Field Service Regiment" was organized to go to the front line, which caused a sensation.

This "revolutionary female soldier" recorded that magnificent era with a pen, and the work was epic in nature.

Who would have thought that after she arrived in Taiwan with her husband in 1948, her thinking had undergone tremendous changes.

Due to the influence of the social and family environment, she almost completely denied the personal history of participating in the "Left Alliance" and the Fujian People's Government, and at the same time, she personally created some "troubles" in the literary world, and the historical influence of these "troubles" was very negative.

I. "The Death of Yu Lichen"

In 1984, Xie Bingying published an article in Taiwan's Lianhe Pao with a sensational title: "Yu Lichen's Death—Guo Moruo Killed Her."

In the text, she attributes Li Chen's suicide to Guo Moruo's chaos and abandonment.

The article says that Guo Moruo pestered Yu Lichen in Japan for three years and made the latter pregnant. After becoming pregnant, Guo's attitude changed and he asked Yu Lichen to have an abortion.

After the operation, Yu complained to Xie about Guo's "incorruptibility and shame" behavior, and revealed his suicidal tendencies, hoping that Xie could help her "seek revenge".

At the time of publication, Guo Moruo and his wife Yu Liqun (Yu Lichen's younger sister) had passed away one after another, and many of his friends who had contacts with Yu Lichen, Guo Moruo, Xie Bingying and other friends in Japan had also passed away.

It is worth mentioning that the accompanying text is accompanied by a cartoon, and the character who is vigorously ugly in the comic is Guo Moruo.

This article did not attract much attention at the time, and after the "Internet era" of "omnipotent" was opened, it suddenly exploded among netizens.

What's more, some people blamed Guo Moruo for the suicide of Liqun (1916-1979).

It is said that after Guo Moruo's death, when Yu Liqun was sorting out his posthumous manuscripts, he discovered the "secret" between his sister Lichen and Guo Moruo, so he died of grief.

Whether this "speculation" has anything to do with Xie Bingying's article is not easy to prove, but it is this article that makes Guo Moruo, a generation of cultural experts, bear notoriety after his death, which is obvious.

How much credibility does Xie Bingying's article have? It is difficult to judge as "orphan evidence".

So far, domestic and foreign historical materials can prove that Yu Lichen and Guo Moruo have had a lot of contacts, but none of them point to an improper relationship between the two.

Not only that, when modern people hooked up the historical materials, they also found an essay by Xie Bingying:

In 1937, shortly after The death of Ms. Yu Lichen, Women's Magazine published two memorial articles written by her "former friends", one written by Guo Moruo and the other by Xie Bingying!

The next two eulogies published by Women's Life magazine are: Guo Moruo's "Broken Kite - In Memory of Ms. Yu Lichen" and Xie Bingying's "Painful Memories - Mourning Lichen". "Broken Line Kite" has been included in a variety of Guo Moruo's works, which has been mentioned earlier and will not be repeated. Written seven days after the deceased's burial, "Heartache" recalls Xie Bingying's acquaintance and interaction with Yu Lichen when she went to Japan for the second time. Somehow, the article did not include any of Xie Bingying's works and was rarely paid attention to. Comparing this article with the author's "The Death of Yu Lichen" in his later years, the former tells people like a mirror that the latter's so-called "unveiling" is a forgery. (Quoted from China Writers Network "Looking for Yu Lichen")

Xie Bingying's "Mourning Lichen" recalls Yu Lichen's experience before and after Lichen's appendicitis surgery in Japan, and she and Japanese friends and other caregivers Yu Lichen.

The "appendix surgery" in 1937 turned into a fake "appendix" and a real "abortion" 47 years later! And "death without proof"...

There are many articles questioning the authenticity of Xie Bingying's "The Death of Yu Lichen", and you can search for it yourself.

Xie Bingying and Guo Moruo had many contacts during the revolutionary years and were full of reverence for Guo. How can a sincere writer know that the other party is so dirty and still be able to interact with the other person normally? Is the city too deep, or what?

At this point, I think of Su Xuelin, who was a writer of the same period as her and then went to Taiwan as well. This woman will start to oppose Lu Lu behind Lu Xun, which is not somewhat similar to Madam Xie Bingying's anti-Guo?

Not only that, these two old writers also joined hands in the Taiwanese literary circles at that time to create an incident of suppressing literary comrades, which was very sensational at the time, that is, -

"The Heart Lock Incident"

"Heart Lock" is a novel written by Guo Lianghui in 1962, which was first serialized in Taipei's Credit News, and then published in a single book in the same year.

No one expected that its publication would cause an uproar in Taiwan's literary circles, and the two old writers who provoked disputes and fueled the waves were none other than Xie and Su.

Guo Lianghui (1926-2013), a female writer who was exactly 20 years younger than Xie Bingying, began to engage in literary creation after she went to Taiwan in 1949; in the 1950s, it was her creative "blowout" period, and in just a decade, she created more than 20 novels.

At the same time, she also wrote film scripts, acted in movies and served as a radio host, a beautiful and talented woman, known as "Taiwan's most beautiful writer".

Guo Lianghui and his works

The story structure of "Heart Lock" is a "erotic polyamorous", writing about the heroine's lust entanglement with multiple men. Because of the subject matter, the novel inevitably has a description of lust, but this description is still very restrained by the author.

For this novel, the author believes that it is a theme that expresses morality and sin, which are often on the front line, but unexpectedly, it is regarded as a work of "adultery and theft".

In 1963, Xie Bingying published an open letter to Ms. Guo Lianghui in a journal, accusing the author of advocating "incest", believing that the purpose of writing the book was to get rich, and that "the better the book sells, the greater the evil you create!" ”

Not only that, she also proposed the expulsion of Guo Lianghui from the board of directors of the "China Literary and Art Association". The reason is that Guo Lianghui is "beautiful", "both dancing and acting in movies", active in social circles, and "causing gossip". She also wrote a novel that "had a very bad social outlook" and "seriously harmed the reputation of the Literary Association", so she had to be expelled.

Before that, the people who reported to the authorities and banned "Heart Lock" pointed to her in many sources.

"Heart Lock" was banned and was not lifted until 1988; Guo Lianghui was expelled from the membership and did not "rehabilitate" until 1982.

Ironically, Xie Bingying is a modern writer inspired by the spirit of "May Fourth" and a "female soldier of the revolution", but in contrast, her actions in the "Heart Lock" incident have become "defenders" and "literary hegemons", which makes people sigh.

In her later years, Xie Bingying

It is true that the environment will change people's thinking, and people who are not sages will also have, but looking at Ms. Xie Bingying from these two things will make people feel the terrible change of people's hearts.

The "whipping corpse" and the "moral kidnapping" are chilling.
