At the age of 35, Xu Xilin was dissected and died

Xu Xilin, a native of Shaoxing, Zhejiang. In 1904, he joined the Guangfu Society, went to Japan in 1905 to study military affairs, and returned to China in 1906, in order to cover the revolution, donated Erpin Daoists and went to Anhui for probation. In 1907, he was appointed by Anhui Inspector Enming as the supervisor of the Anhui Higher Patrol Police Academy.

After presiding over the Patrol Police Academy, he mobilized the students of the academy and the Anqing New Army to prepare for an armed uprising, and agreed with Qiu Jin in Zhejiang to revolt at the same time. On July 6, Xu Xilin used Anhui Inspector Enming to attend the graduation ceremony of the Higher Patrol Police Academy, assassinated Enming, and led the students to attack the ordnance station, and was arrested after a failed fierce battle. On July 7, he was dissected and died outside the Dongyuan Gate of Anqing, at the age of 35.
