72 years ago today, the unsung hero did a great thing for the liberation of Shanghai

"72 years ago today, my father led the troops to fight hard against the Kuomintang troops at the Mint Bridge. Suddenly, there was a noise outside the door, and I saw a man in a suit and leather shoes standing in the doorway, and my father had never seen such a person in the army. Everyone doubted whether he was a Kuomintang general or an official, and they were reluctant to let him in. ”

"That man is my father..."

At the "Unsung Heroes theme film festival on the hidden front" held on May 25, Luo Weidao's descendant Luo Fu and Tian Yunqiao's descendant Tian Haitao told the story behind the liberation of Shanghai. On that day, they met for the first time and successfully rebelled against the Nationalist defender Liu Changyi, laying the foundation for the liberation of Shanghai on May 27.

"At dawn, my father saw that there were trams outside, and there was no power outage at the labor hospital where the troops were stationed, no water outages, and telephones could be directly called to the enemy headquarters. I can't help but sigh that the work of the shanghai underground party has been done too well. Luo said indignantly.
