Lin Tie shot Cui Wei's big wolf dog

author:My family is Baiyangdian

Lin Tie was the first secretary of the founding Hebei Provincial Party Committee and a member of the Central Committee.

Cui Wei is a famous director and performance artist.

It is said that the two should not have any conflict, but for a wolf dog, there is a slight grudge.

During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, there was a "Fireline Drama Club" in the Political Department of the Jizhong Military Region, and its president was Cui Wei.

Mention the "FireWire Drama Society", which is a household name among the Eighth Route Army and ordinary people in Jizhong Province.

As early as 1937, Lü Zhengcao created the "Self-Defense Newspaper" and "Red Star Magazine" in the "People's Self-Defense Army", as well as the propaganda team and the Young Pioneers, which was the predecessor of the "Fireline Drama Society" of the Jizhong Military Region.

In the spring of 1938, the "People's Self-Defense Army" was reorganized into the Third Column of the Eighth Route Army and the Jizhong Military Region, and the Propaganda Brigade and the Young Pioneers were also renamed the "Fireline Drama Society" of the Jizhong Military Region.

Cui Wei, the president of "Fireline Social Drama", is even more famous, not only has a strong and burly life, but also has a rather bold temper, and people privately call him "Cui Dashuai".

A native of Zhucheng, Shandong, he worked as a child laborer at the age of 12 to participate in progressive activities, and was later admitted to the screenwriting class of the Shandong Provincial Theater, and returned to Qingdao after graduation to organize a troupe to perform progressive dramas and publicize the anti-Japanese resistance. In 1936, Cui Wei served as the theater director of the Shanghai Women's and Children's Condolence Group, went to the Suiyuan Anti-Japanese Front to offer condolences, and co-performed "Put Down Your Whip" with Chen Bo'er, which opened the precursor to the anti-Japanese drama on the anti-Japanese front.

After experiencing the "May Day Sweep" in the Anti-Japanese Base Area of Jizhong and entering the most arduous period, the literary and art groups such as the "New Century Drama Society" and the "FireLine Drama Society" in Jizhong District, which were transferred to Luxi, were merged, and Cui Wei became the president of the "Fireline Drama Society" in Jizhong in November 1942.

Cui Wei was a comrade of great personality, he was talented, jealous as a vendetta, never attached to the tendency of inflammation, and dared to fight against the bad atmosphere in the revolutionary ranks.

Don't look at him tall and burly, but he loves small animals very much, and in the early years of the Taihang Mountain Anti-Japanese Base Area, Nie Laozong, commander of the Jin-Cha-Ji Military Region, knew about it and specially gave him a big wolf dog.

Cui Wei cared for this dog very much, inseparable, and brought it with him when he arrived in Jizhong.

During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the base areas in Hebei were not allowed to keep dogs, because most of our Eighth Route Army and guerrilla units were active at night, and the barking of the people's dogs was tantamount to reporting the news, which would alert the enemy and hinder our actions.

Therefore, not only are dogs not allowed to be kept within the Eighth Route Army, but even the compatriots in Hebei have consciously "handled" the dogs they feed themselves.

But Cui Wei was very fond of his big wolf dog, and his life was usually hard, so he saved up his nest and stickers that he was reluctant to eat and fed it to the dog.

After a long time, some compatriots saw it and had some discussion: "Our dogs have all been killed, why does the Eighth Route Army still have Japanese big wolf dogs?" ”

I don't know who later spread these words to Lin Tie, the main leading comrade of the Jizhong Military Region, so Lin Tie called Cui Wei to talk and asked him to dispose of the dog. But Cui Wei did not agree and disagreed no matter what he said.

Lin Tie saw that Cui Wei was so stubborn, there was no better way, so he had to secretly order a comrade to lead the wolf dog to a brick kiln outside the village, and "bang" two shots to "shoot" the dog.

Cui Wei did not know about this matter, at that time was on the village stage to convey the superior documents to the comrades of the drama club, heard the sound of gunfire, he was also shocked, immediately sent someone out to inquire where the gunshots came from?

The man came back to report that the leader had sent someone to kill his dog, and Cui Wei was stunned after hearing it, and did not speak for half a moment, and finally shook his head helplessly and whispered to the director general: "Eat it." ”

So the cooking class skinned the dog and stewed a large pot hotly, so that the comrades of the drama club had a beautiful tooth sacrifice, but Cui Wei stood far away, and did not move a single chopstick.

When someone told the old Red Army Wang Qicai, who was then director of the political department of the Jizhong Military Region about the "shooting" of Cui Wei's wolf dog, he just listened to it as a joke and did not take it very seriously.

Unexpectedly, another thing happened later, which involved himself in the whirlpool.

Not long after the "dog beating incident" occurred, the "Firewire Theatre Society" began to rehearse a new play "White Haired Girl", and Cui Wei seriously told the actors on the stage every day, and the work was very tense.

In August, before a performance, Lin Tie's guards and lovers walked back and forth on the stage, affecting the preparations for the theater's performance. When the actors gave them advice, the guard did not listen to the persuasion of the drama club staff and quarreled with the other party, causing strong dissatisfaction among the actors.

Most of the actors of the "FireWire Drama Society" were young people who were 20 years old at the time, and they were flesh and blood, of course, they did not buy his account. A young actor named Zhao Forest was impulsive, opened his mouth and scolded: "You are just a dog leg, beat him!" So the two sides moved their hands.

Cui Wei was also at the scene at the time, and he also felt that this guard was not doing well, so he did not stop the actors' excessive actions, and said on the side: "What's so great, it's really a dog fight!" ”

Then, a few days after this incident, Cui Wei met the guard in the field on the edge of the village one evening, and after a few words of discord, he was beaten by the guard.

This moved the anger of the public, and the actors of the "Firewire Drama Society" were indignant for a while, and they demanded that the superiors severely punish the guard, and if they did not meet the requirements, they would strike.

Lin Tie did not conduct a good investigation and study, but only listened to one-sided reactions, raised the matter to the height of "anti-party," and instructed the political department of the military region to seriously investigate and come up with opinions on how to deal with it.

This happened to the "FireWire Drama Society", Wang Qicai understood Cui Wei very well from the heart, he thought that this was just due to the leading guards interfering with Cui Wei's filming, he said it casually in a hurry, and there was no need to go on the program.

Therefore, under his presidency, Cui Wei was summoned to criticize a few words, and then the Political Department sent people to the drama club to rectify, and after a few days of study, some strange words and dissatisfaction were corrected and hastily ended.

Unexpectedly, when the party committee of the Jizhong Military Region received the report of the Political Department on the handling of this matter, Lin Tie was very angry, accused Wang Qicai of being ineffective in correcting anti-party ideology, speaking for "anti-party elements," and severely criticizing Wang Qicai within the party committee, accusing him of "not having a high level of policy and being somewhat accommodating to him (Cui Song) ideologically, so he did not act seriously enough in handling the matter, causing a very bad impact." ”

At the insistence of the district party committee, Cui Wei was severely criticized, and even confined Cui Wei for a period of time.

The comrades of the "Fireline Drama Society" were all upset when they learned of the situation, believing that the handling was unfair, and Vice President Fu Duo once secretly saw Cui Wei and took someone to petition his superiors. Guo Weizheng, the head of the drama team, also reflected to the district party committee that Cui Wei had participated in the Left League in Shanghai in the 30s, and later came to Yan'an, which had a great influence on society and should be handled carefully.

It is said that this matter was later caused by the Central Bureau, and later it was still given a punishment to Cui Wei and transferred him out of the "Firewire Drama Society".

Wang Qicai always thought that Cui Wei's transfer was a loss in Jizhong afterwards, and he was very sorry.

But he was a highly principled party member, who had opinions on the decisions made by the leaders and never discussed them behind his back, but regretted that he had not been able to better protect his comrades from grievances.

10 years later, when he wrote about this incident in his autobiography, there was still a deep remorse and regret between the lines.

However, it is a little comforting that our old comrades, after all, are highly conscious and do not have revenge because of their personal grievances.

During the "Cultural Revolution", the rebels of the North China Bureau learned of Cui Wei's past with Lin Tie from nowhere, so they found him to "transfer" and hoped that he would prove that Lin Tie was a fake party member.

Cui Song embodied the noble qualities of an artist at this time, and he solemnly wrote on the external transfer materials: "Lin Tie and I are superior and subordinate relations, I respect Comrade Lin Tie, Comrade Lin Tie is not a fake party member!" ”

Lin Tie later learned of this news with a lot of emotion, when Cui Wei died, he rushed to BabaoShan to participate in the farewell ceremony, because of the large number of people crowded in, standing at the door of the hall with tears.
