The master of Chinese painting Qi Baishi has two wives, the former named Chen Chunjun, the latter named Hu Baozhu, the two of them gave birth to a total of six boys and four girls for Qi Baishi (the premature ones are not counted), if we count the ten children of Master Baishi one by one, there will be amazing discoveries, and the relevant details will make another big person full of hope.
In 1883, the year the Sino-French War broke out, Qi Baishi's wife Chen Chunjun gave birth to their first child------ eldest daughter Qi Juru, who was 20 years old. Among the paintings handed down by Qi Baishi is a iris fan, that is, he specially painted for his eldest daughter in 1936, and the 72-year-old father's inscription gift to his 53-year-old daughter should also be regarded as a good story in the art world!
In 1889, that is, the fifteenth year of Guangxu, when Qi Baishi was 25 years old (calculated according to the prevailing age, the same below), Chen Chunjun gave birth to the eldest son Qi Liangyuan, Yuan, the first also. Liangyuan character Bobang, trumpet Zizhen.
In 1894, the second year of the Sino-Japanese Sino-Japanese War, Qi Baishi's second son Qi Liangfu was born, and judging from the fact that Qi Baishi named his son after Mi Fu, he should have expected this son to become a great painter in the future, although at that time he was still a small carpenter who loved to paint. The name of Qi Baishi's second son is written in some places, but according to the habit of the old man of Baishi who likes to use simple characters, it is more likely that he chose the character 芾字 to name his son.
Four years later, the Penghu Reform Law occurred, and on the occasion of the Hundred Days Restoration, the Qi Baishi family added a new person------ second daughter Qi Amei.
Because Chen Chunjun was reluctant to leave her hometown of Xiangtan, Hunan, four of her five children accompanied her to live in the rural countryside of Xiangtan, and only the youngest son, Qi Liangkun, followed her father to Beiping because of her talent for painting.
Qi Liangkun, born in 1902, at the age of 18, under the arrangement of his father, he entered the famous Beijing painter Chen Banding to learn painting, and later became an accomplished flower and bird painter. In particular, it is worth mentioning that in 1944, when the Japanese invaded Xiangtan, Qi Liangkun resolutely threw himself into the anti-Japanese guerrilla war and led the guerrilla group composed of local people to fight in the deep mountains and dense forests until the victory of the Anti-Japanese War.
Qi Baishi's second wife, Hu Baozhu, entered the Qi family as a concubine, and because Chen Chunjun did not like city life, he asked Hu Baozhu to accompany Qi Baishi to the capital Beiping to do a middle-aged north drift.
Calling Qi Baishi a middle-aged man in North Drift is not very accurate, because he was 55 years old when he came to Beijing to pursue his dream of fame, and it can be said that one foot has entered the ranks of old age.
Since the birth of the third son, Liang Kun, the Qi Baishi family has not imported Tim Ding for nearly twenty years, and after the 17-year-old second lady Hu Baozhu came to him, his youth, which had been lost for many years, seemed to have been recalled.
In 1921, when Qi Baishi was 57 years old, Hu Baozhu gave birth to their first child------ son Qi Liangchi.
Qi Liangchi, with a long character, is the fourth son of Qi Baishi. He began to learn the traditional techniques of Chinese painting under the guidance of his father from the age of ten, and engaged in art education after graduating from Fu Jen University in Beijing at the age of twenty-four. Later, at the behest of Premier Zhou, he resigned to serve the old man of Baishi and study the art of "Qi School" painting.
Two years later, Hu Baozhu's second son, Qi Liangwei, was born, and this year Qi Baishi was 59 years old and 61 years old (Qi Baishi was born in the lunar calendar in 1963, and according to folk customs, he should be two years old).
Qi Liangwei, zi taki, number delay, successively studied in the Peking National Art College, Peking Fu Jen University Department of Fine Arts, he also inherited the mantle of his father Qi Baishi, good at painting flowers, birds, insects and fish, has a high artistic achievement.
Liang was quite favored by his father at an early age, and the old man of Shiraishi once painted a "Picture of Delayed Dozing" and inscribed a poem:
Ask the poor scriptures are not demons, and why is reading a book a bitter mouth hanging in the river.
The article is wasted but the lamp is tasteless, no wonder Wu'er dozed off a lot.
In 1926, when Qi Baishi was 62 years old, Hu Baozhu gave birth to their eldest daughter Qi Liangpi.
Qi Baishi had an old friend named Yi Guangyuan in Xiangtan, and the husband he chose for Qi Liangpi was Yi Guangyuan's grandson Yi Shuzi. On the eve of the liberation of Qi Liangpi and his wife, they went to Taiwan and made unique contributions to the dissemination of Qi Baishi's painting art.
Qi Baishi's youngest daughter, Qi Liangzhi, was born in 1931, when Baishi was 67 years old. Qi Liangzhi learned to paint with her father since childhood, good at painting shrimp, crabs, flowers and birds, concise pen and ink, and good shapes and gods. She can also paint grass worms and landscape scrolls, with fine workmanship and beautiful colors.
In 1938, Qi Baishi was 74 years old (76 years old), at this time, Hu Baozhu gave birth to his youngest son Qi Liangmu.
Qi Liang's last character Ji Niu, the number of the root, about the name and character of the last old man, the old man of Shiraishi has such an explanation: the word to Ji Niu, cow, ugly also, Remember Ding ugly year pregnant also. The number is eighty for the root, and I am eighty years old, and I still have this root seedling.
Qi Liangmo is good at painting inkfish shrimp insects, and splashing ink shrimp has the most fatherly style. In the course of decades of tempering, he inherited the essence of the Qi family's painting style and pushed the Qi school painting style to another peak.
Qi Baishi originally thought that Liangmu was his last child, but in 1943, when he was 81 years old, Hu Baozhu became pregnant again, unfortunately, the next year, the 42-year-old Hu Baozhu died of difficult childbirth, leaving his three sons and two daughters (the eldest of the five children was 21 years old, the youngest was only 4 years old) to the elderly Bai Shi...
