Liu Bei was kind in heart and could not bear to resist, but Zhang Fei was not easy to provoke, and when he learned that his brother had been framed by the inspector, he was furious and tied him to a horse stake and beaten with wicker. However, Liu Bei still let him go, and there was no hope of staying here, so he took Guan and Zhang to Dai Prefecture to surrender liu hui.
Soon after defecting to Liu Hui, the thieves from all sides rose again. Liu Bei led his troops to conquest well, and soon became the commander of Pingyuan County.
